Dr. Paul Morgan Wilkie, MD

Great experience with Dr Wilke & his team. Explained the procedure with ease & confidence.

Pros: No problems with appointments; Hip replacement surgery was very successful; his surgical team was very well organized and friendly (helped ease the associated anxiety of the event). He is a man of few words, but this is hardly a fault of his surgical skills. Cons: The office communication with patient started off shaky but ended as a patient expected.

This so call Dr. should not be practicing medicine. He has ruined my life. He performed a revision on my left knee Jan. 15 2019. That leg is NOW longer than the other. He laughed in my face at my last office visit and said oh no that can't be it must be something else. Your hip or your back. NO PAUL YOU MADE A MISTAKE. That leg was the same length as the other before the surgery. I had to have a orthotic made for the opposite side so I don't veer over. When I told him about this as my PT notice it. I knew something was very wrong he laugh in my face. I have to have a tie shoe on all the time with the orthotics no more sandals. Also had a orthotic made for my slipper just in case I have to use the bathroom at night. Can't walk with out one in my shoes.

Dr Wilkie is the best Dr you can have! His patients & their care are his #1 priority . He takes the time to listen to you & address any concerns you have. He’s caring & kind & has great bedside manners & makes you feel very comfortable & is easy to talk to

After an ER visit, made an appointment with Cleveland Clinic, Akron General Orthopedic scheduling department with Dr. Wilkie at Akron General Green location at 1946 Town Park Blvd., Suite 100, Green, Ohio 44685. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and was told by Dr. Wilkie's staff that he had a meeting to attend. What an excuse for alleged professional medical doctor, who doesn't keep appointments with patients who are in severe pain and awaiting a diagnosis and don't have the time nor resources to waste, re-scheduling successive appointments, when Dr. Wilkie might not show up. Truth be told, I was in so much pain, I would have waited if he said he would be late, but this was just plain amateurish. The excuse won't fly that you didn't have new numbers, because I gave scheduling a new number well as ER two new numbers to reach me. There has not been one occasion when the ER hasn't ask for a most recent phone number to reach me.

I saw Dr Wilke for a knee problem. I could tell the second I met him he had no intentions of trying to diagnose the problems and was just in it to collect that office visit with no follow up visits. I had my family Dr get an MRI ordered. I got the phone call today saying it showed multiple tears and other issues. Now where would I be if I had not pushed passed him. I'm sure of it were him he would not want to have to try and live that way. I guess they don't know what its like living in pain.

Had total knee replacement, very good Dr highly recommend him .
