Dr. Paul Matthew Yonover, MD

Dr. Yanover is one of my favorite providers. Friendly, direct, sympathetic, a good communicator, always puts me at ease even when the situation is complicated or uncertain.

I have known Dr. Yonover some time now. He is an Excellent Urologist. Very professional and knowledgeable. He is also upfront and to the point when it comes to explaining test results and diagnoses to you, which is the type of Doctor I personally like.

Have known Dr Yanover for years. Consu ate professional and vary knowledgeable. Highly reccomend

Great urologist! He performed my vasectomy and everything went great! Successful surgery that was difficult due to previous work. Very personable and displayed a fair bit of empathy and humor.

Thorough and candid.

I have been seeing Dr Yonober for about ten years now and, throughout those years, I have had nothing but good experiences. Dr. Yonober is very thorough and explains everything to me in plain English. I have faced many health issues through those years and he has always guided me in the right direction. He answers all my questions and shows genuine concern for my wellbeing.

Didn't even remember if he had seen me before. I get that he probably sees tons of patients, but it doesn't exactly instill confidence in a diagnosis when your doctor asks "Have I seen you before?" First time I saw him, he told me on my 2nd visit if my problem wasn't cleared up, we'd go to the OR and take care of it. When I arrived for my 2nd visit, said we'd have to schedule a date two weeks away for the procedure. Didn't even mention what he had said the first time. Went to another doctor, got a 2nd opinion, and they said something different than Yonover. He's a nice guy, but doesn't seem like he particularly cares that much

This was my first office visit with Dr Paul Yonover. It was an excellent experience. He understood my history and current health status. Dr Yonover reviewed certain possible avenues for moving forward with certain procedures based on that medical history and current health status (which is very good at this time). Overall I highly recommend Dr Yonover to others. I feel very confident in his evaluation of my health and would follow whatever recommendations he deems necessary to keep me living a healthy life for many years to come.

They only communicate by phone, not email, and they don’t do it well. I spoke to the office manager about an issue, she promised to call me back after the weekend, but she never did. I assumed the issue had been resolved to my satisfaction, until I called a couple of weeks before the appointment and found out I could not travel within a certain amount of time after the procedure. I know he’s a very good doctor because he helped me with my kidney stones six years ago (the reason for two stars instead of one). But his office staff is hideous, including the fact that they call you out by your full name when they call you in for your appointment, so other patients know who you are. The doctor explained to me that that’s very deliberate so they don’t confuse two people of the same first name, but this is the ONLY doctor’s office I’ve ever seen do it that way. Felt to me like a violation of privacy. Very humiliating.
