Dr. Paula Ann Radon, MD

The staff was kind and attentive, but unfortunately the receptionist scheduled the appointment with the wrong doctor, which created an incredibly awkward moment as I had to insist I saw Dr Radon, who had come recommended to me and this appointment was VERY important to me and my health given my current situation. Dr. Radon, may be a brilliant intellect, but her inability to speak to me with compassion and care was truly shocking. As well, her inability to explain to me the answers to my questions without appearing annoyed, pedantic, and almost childlike in her frustration, was inexplicable. I have never in my life experience that kid of interaction with a doctor. Her bedside manner is beyond repair, as it seems she doesn't come to her role as a physician with the necessary soft skills - compassion, empathy, a willingness to listen and understand. Those aren't things you learn, those are things you're born with and can improve upon. I saw no evidence it was there. Truly… disappointing. I think I've written one review in my life. This is the second. My suggestion: steer clear of this practice and Dr Radon.

I love Dr. Radon and have sent many people to her over the years. All of them have been equally thrilled. Highly recommend her.

I had a great experience with Dr. Radon and staff. She is knowledgeable, caring with great bedside manners.

If I could give zero stars I would. One of the most unfeeling, insensitive doctors I have ever been to. Dr. Radon used to be part of the practice that I use (whom I love!). I was pregnant with twins and, because you never know who is going to be on call when you go into labor, I wanted to establish a relationship with all the doctors in the practice. It was unfortunate that at my 13 week checkup my appt was with Dr. Radon. She was the one who had to tell me that I miscarried. After she told me that there weren't any heartbeats and I lay there crying she said, "well, that isn't how I wanted to end my Friday." Um, excuse me? Could I bring your attention back to the fact that both of my babies just died?! When I got pregnant again I talked to one of the other doctors saying that I would love to stay with the practice, but that there was no way I would ever let Dr. Radon near me. I was relieved when I was told that she was leaving the practice for more of a research position. In… my opinion she shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a patient.

I agree with all the negative comments about this so called doctor. I went to her one time and will NEVER go back and NEVER recommend her. She is cold, unfeeling, arrogant, does not listen, and thinks she knows everything and you know nothing - even your own body! I would give negative stars if possible. Stay away from this "doctor." There are too many OBGYN's out there to have to put up with her. I found the front desk person to be almost as snotty and rude as the doctor, which isn't surprising as that is the environment around the office.

By far the worst doctor I've ever been to

I been in the office twice and every time doctor been rude to me. She do not listen to my concerns or dismisses my symptoms. Every thing is normal.

I waited an hour and a half past my appointment time to see Dr Radon. with no explanation. I typed out my previous history and medication. She obviously did not look at any of it from the questions that she asked after she should have asked them, causing great discomfort. When I would mention a problem, before I would finish the sentence, she would tell me that I should go to my primary care Dr for it. When talking about my previous history she would make me feel as if I had no idea about what I was talking about even though this was my body I was talking about. I thought the entire office from the receptionist to the doctor was rude and incompetent. A complete waste of time and money.

Dr. Raydon is an excellent doctor- she takes the time to listein to the patient and their concerns. I've been a patient of Dr. Raydon for over 7 years, and she takes the time to review my file and discuss the concerns that I have when I come to see her. The follow up and helping the patient to understand options is always top notch service with Dr. Raydon and her staff.

I have had the same problem for 9 months now and have been offered virtually no solution/relief. I am a person who avoids seeing GYN (guess no one really looks forward to such visits). But I am almost always late in my annual exams because I am too uncomfortable to do these. But lately I have made multiple appts due a recurring/chronic issue. To me this should speak loudly to Dr. Radon because I don't go to her unless I really need something. For me to repeatedly contact her and come in should mean there is truly something bothering me. Why would I all of the sudden book appts now when I have never done that in the past? Because I have a REAL problem.I feel completely blown off, as if I am some pain in her side that she doesn't have the time for. I don't feel she really listens and I get the feeling that she doesn't want to "waste" her time on me. This isn't how you want to feel when going to such a personal appt with a chronic issue.I have received no relief to date 9 months… into my issue. My grandmother has seen this Dr. also and she felt that she is just too old that no one cares if she has a problem at her age! She had the exact same feelings I Had, that these problems are beneath Dr. Radon. She doesn't have the time or energy, or just simply doesn't care.Maybe our problems are insignificant to her? But based upon these experiences I would never recommend her to anyone.The office itself seems clean, organized, and friendly. So I can't speak on the behalf of the other Dr.'s in this office. I can only tell you the facts of my experiences with Dr. Radon in particular.Definitely don't recommend her.
