I had an emergency surgery which included an incision opening and drainage following strategic follow ups. From waking up in recovery tilo now, I’ve been pain-free and checked on round the clock from the 6 day hospital stay, till recovery at home and having a follow up appt already. My Mom had scheduled a procedure for 12:30 PM it took place at 11 PM! This is really not ok. She waited all day without even water.

Dr Cordero happened to be the surgeon who worked on me when I needed to have emergency surgery. It's sudden, unplanned and one has little to no time to speak or choose their surgeon in such a case. I went in under and woke up stitched up and not spoken to the doctor until hours and then, days later. I remember him being upbeat and confident in his skill/the job done, pretty straightforward, told me what he thought I needed. Taking the staples (after stiching) I remember was a breeze even though I was freaking out he made it all into a funny situation instead. My surgery was on my colon in 2013, so, almost 6 years ago. I went to hospital once, few months later, PERHAPS due to adhesives (but nothing was confirmed) and once in his office (looong wait but it was a breeze once inside). till today, 6 years later, I have thankfully been fine, even better than a year prior to my surgery. I trust his skill/experience was biggest factor in cutting then closing me with such good outcome. I was 20… something at the time. Thanks Dr Cordero

Too many appointments for the same time. Waiting is ridiculous. Not only do you wait in the waiting room for hrs you get go wait even longer on the room once you are called in. Not sure as to why they put you in a room and after waiting they move you to another room. Still waiting again. Appointment at 12:30 now 3 pm and still waiting to be seen. I just want to walk out. But I waited this long it might be soon. Who knows. I cannot do this again.

Malignant personality, psychotic, nice one minute angry the next. Questionable ethics, are you sure he really needs to operate on you? Avoid this doctor at all cost!

I'm a 16 yr old who needs her gall bladder removed, and although the wait was long he is very caring and smart. I can definitely trust him with the surgery I will soon receive. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, any age.

We were there and waiting time was not pleasant,but maybe there are reasons that make many people go to his office.Look like a good doctor.:-)He was friendly and he answer all questions.I will let know in details after my surgery.

Wating time is extremely ridiculous and too many people in same schedule.Money is good but most important is respect.It is very sad to see many people waiting over two hours to see you with frustation and pain.

i would recommend this physician to not schedule so many people in his office because the waiting time is extremely high...also to pay attention more to his patients in the hospital...
