Dr. Peggy Pauline Bastien, MD

Incredibly kind, nurturing and supportive obstetrician. We were very lucky to have had our baby delivered by her. Dr. Bastien was highly informative during every step of delivery, which assured us immensely. We could not have asked for a better delivery experience! I would highly recommend her as an obstetrician to anyone.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. She was so unprofessional and rude, do not waste your time. Find a real doctor who treats their patients with respect and kindness - literally anywhere else.

OMG. I love Dr. Bastien. I have been a patient of hers for the past few years. She is amazing and very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped with my annual screenings and aided in my prompt diagnosis of cancer. I trust her with my life and I pray that she never changes practices because I will have to follow her. Thank you Dr. Bastien see you soon. Your hands are truly blessed. I have never had a Dr. so kind and gentle.

It was clear that Dr. Bastien had not reviewed my patient record before my last visit--she asked me if I was "sure" I'd had a hysterectomy, insisting that I had a cervix. I described the structure of my vagina to her, using the words of my former gyno who did the hysterectomy. When I met with Dr. B a week later, I asked her if she'd figured out if I had a cervix. She said she had explained that to me the previous week--she repeated back to me the exact same words I had conveyed to her. I hate to bash females because sisters need to stand together, but no way would I trust this doctor again. Also, I unfortunately agree with the other comment re these being THE most painful pelvic exams ever. When your patient repeatedly informs you that you are hurting her, maybe it's time to break out the KY jelly?

Not sure what that patient is talking about. Dr. Bastien is a wonderful physician. She does an excellent gyn exam. Matter of fact, it’s so quick and painless. I didn’t even know she was finished! Sadly, Some of her patients have serious psychiatric disorders like the patient who left a bad review. We all know that patient . She was upset because she couldn’t get a prescription for the Prolia, so she made the whole thing up and harassed the staff. She’s well known in the community for harassing the doctors ....sad!

She made inappropriate remarks about my breasts. The pelvic exam was very painful unlike any provided by other doctors. She gave me incorrect info about pap smears after age 65 and could not clearly communicate why she would not authorize Prolia. This was my first visit in Jan. 2018 . i will not return for any future visits as her patient.

Dr. Bastien was patient and understanding in counselling and addressing my concerns.
