Dr. Penny Ann Lowenstein, MD

I have been going to Dr. Lowenstein since the mid-80's. She is a wonderful and very competent M.D. She spends time and answers all my questions. I trust her completely with DX's , advice and procedures.

From the moment she stepped into the room, she was incredibly rude. She didn't greet me in any way or introduce herself to me. She seemed sarcastic and condescending the whole time. She told me my previous diagnoses were completely inaccurate without her even looking at my medical record. She even embarrassed me in the waiting room in front of everyone while scheduling my follow-up appointment. She talked about condition publicly and put me on the spot by making me buy a product I did not want. I was reduced to tears afterwards in my car. By far the most unprofessional doctor I have had yet.

Very frustrating to try and make an appointment and told they're not accepting new patients. This is the most convenient office that takes my insurance and sells the line of products I'm interested in. They need to change their profile to indicate that they are no longer accepting new patients.

Dr. Lowenstien was kind, and considerate and just as caring as can be. I had had a previous "disheartening" episode with someone else in the same office who did not have a great bedside manner. I had asked for a change of Drs. I highly recommend seeing her.
