Dr Perisco Wofford Sr. Physician Has Excellent with bedside manner. He is concerned about his patients.

Mom came in through the emergency room. After tests, diagnosis was kidney failure. He informed us on the procedures that needed to be done. He has been excellent in the patients care and healing. Bedside manners were excellent. He was courteous to the whole family. I would recommend him as a great doctor.

Getting an appointment requires tremendous time and effort! The doctor has strict, unrelenting guidelines for granting an appointment. This doctor does not take self-referrals. With another doctor's referral, appointments can only be made one day each week. If a call is made after this day of the week, the patient has to wait until this day the following week to get an appointment. The doctor requires that the referring doctor provide specific paperwork prior to appointment scheduling or an appointment will not be granted. The referring doctor must be thorough and timely in providing required information. The staff seems less than courteous and helpful on the phone. So, if the patient has an urgent problem, this would not be the doctor of choice.

Dr. Wofford has poor patient follow up. He nor his office will return your call. He does good at consulting with other physicians regarding your care. But other than that, he is horrible. His office staff is rude and unprofessional. I have never been treated like this before. I will not be going back to this MD.
