Dr. Perry Lloyd III, MD

I moved to this area from out of state and developed a severe sinus infection. I saw the sign for Dr. Perry in my neighboorhood and made an appt. From the first visit, he was rude and extremely abrupt. His first words to me were "I don't want to know anything about your past medical history. I make my own history." Knowing nothing about me, he immediately began reducing my prescriptions for blood pressure, and acid reflux. On my visits, I primarily saw the nurse and then the Dr. very quickly. He prescribed an anti-biotic and then left. After many different anti-biotics over several months and very little verbal communication with Dr. Perry, I found a new Dr. who after doing some tests, prescribed a completely different antibiotic, and I immediately began improving.

His staff called and wanted me to pay the copay from my last visit which was over two months ago. I told the woman (who said her name was Deb) I had already sent a check. I asked her to wait while I pulled up my Quicken software to check. Sure enough, paid and cleared the bank. She wanted me to mail her a copy of the cancelled check. I told her I would if she sent a SASE to cover the postage. It might sound petty but she wanted me to provide proof before she was going to check any further on her end. She asked for me to email a copy and when I didn't jump for joy...SHE HUNG UP ON ME! I called back and she proceeded to admit she had hung up on me and that I was rude! The fact she wanted me to jump thru hoops to prove what I claimed and offered no evidence she was going to do anything but be impolite was amazing. Sometimes I think doctors forget that I pay for their service, not the other way around. I asked to talk to the Doctor and she told me I couldn't, that he didn't get involved in… financial problems like this. Doc, you need to keep your eye on an employee that is rude to the customers and claims you aren't interested in how she acts

Doc Lloyd takes the best medical history of any doctor I have ever been to in my life!! He is completely thorough as is his staff. His office is a little older, but I don't go there for the office decor, or for that matter, his bed side manner. He is professional and takes great care to fully understand what's going on. I certainly recommend him. I have never had unusual wait times. The office typically runs in a timely manner.

Dr. Lloyd and his staff are friendly and caring. I pulled him out of the phone book after another doctor nearly let me die. Dr Lloyd not only diagnosed my problem, he got me into the hospital quickly and onto meds to help solve the problem. I was in his office an average of 3 times a week for nearly a year, but he managed to get my condition under control with some sleuthing. I'd recommend Dr Lloyd to anyone.

Great staff, friendly and efficient. Dr. Lloyd was able to get to my problem and resolve it when others could not. Dr. Lloyd took his time with me and I found him to be caring and with a sense of humor. Blood draw was painless with his wonderful nurse Denise. Would highly reccomend him!!!

This doctor is fast talking and takes to long to see him.The Staff is the worst i have ever been too. So unpleasant hard to get medical records charges late fees. The office looks like a 60s comeback. It is so dirty looking and everyone takes their time. The whole office including the doctor runs around like a chicken with no head. After 7 visits to this doctor I now have a new. Thank you Dr. Lloyd for letting me see what a 60s doctor office looks like and runs.

My positive experience with this doctor is mostly in his staff...never have to wait for an app't and he does spend alot of time listening to and figuring out ailments. A bit sarcastic not sure about how he would be at bedside etc. He seems very detailed in writing everything down but don't try to read a scrip...even the pharmasist has major problems with that. Otherwise I'd recommend him if you live in the Ft Pierce area.
