Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal, MD

Dr. Iqbal is a great doctor but since he is not at the Liberty Ave office, his staff are rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Read my review about him from 2018 when I said he really is great. However, his staff need to be put in check. Indira is very rude and need a reality check that she should respect people. The other indian lady that sit with her in the front is also rude and they talk about other patient in a disrespectful manner. Everyone should reach out to Better Business Bureau and complain so that change can take place.

This doctor was not able to identify cancer metastasis in my husband’s lungs. He told us it was “normal” to have dark spots my husband being a former smoker. Sadly we believed him and didn’t go for additional ct or mri. 8 months later we found out it was cancer and those dark spots were metastasis. This doctor should be stripped of his license. Stay away

alam is very disrespectful. he never send rite medication to pharmacy and when I speak to him he say what do you want with no respect. please do something with him.

Dr Iqbal cares genuinely and sincerely for his patients, always going above and beyond his duties. I simply can't imagine the many lives that were probably (and likely) saved because of the thorough treatment; and comprehensive testings involved, in patients visits and follow up appointments. The Dr's staff is also very good about reminder calls too, if such tests are required. All around, Dr Iqbal is amazing! I would continue to recommend him to anybody looking for great health care. Dr. Pervaiz goes out of his way for his patients. He has wonderful bedside manners. He genuinely cares about his patients! After a hernia surgery the hospital told me I had problems with my breathing and they couldn’t figure out why. I looked on zocdoc for pulmonologists and found great reviews for Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal. He immediately reassured me I was going to be okay and he was going to find a solution to the problem! He did! He got me on an action plan! When my Rx insurance gave me a hard time Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal and his staffed went above and beyond to get me what I needed!! All the great reviews are true! His staff is knowledgeable and professional! Please dont let the reviews about the wait throw you off from this doctor! Its a normal wait and thats the price you pay for seeing a great doctor who cares about his patients! Everyone wants to see him!!! I can't thank him for everything he’s done for me!!!! He is always looking out for me! Truly the best lung doctor in NYC if not the… entire nation! He helped me a lot with my bad Allergy. He also can help people in other illnesses. I have would recommend him to anyone who needs help. He gets a five rating star in my book. He is a concerning doctor who cares about the health of people. We need more doctors like Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal. I would say keep up the good work :)
