Lots of life experience, practical, and of all things he was funny. Very helpful to me going through a very painful and unwanted divorce. for which I am grateful thus this review.

I have been to many therapists over the years and Dr. Dunn was by far the best. I have been seeing him for a year now and I have never felt better. He is warm, understanding and present.

I was recommended by my primary care doctor after I lost my partner and my dog. Dr Dunn is warm and compassionate and smart and funny. I am grateful to have found him at this terrible time of my life.

He really needs to retire, he doesn't care about his patients as much as he cares about making money. If you don't make enough money he won't care about you.

He is not a faker. He knows his stuff and told me right away what I needed to do to get out of the bad place i was living in. I did not listen to him and I lived to regret it. Then I returned six months later and did the treatment he suggested and i kick myself for having waiting so long. Of course what worked for me might not work for someone else, but I got out of a trulz horrific situation without meds and my friends tell me I never looked so good. And I was the one of my friends who told the pszchiatrist jokes. But I think you have to find the right person to treat you as there are a lot of quacks around.

I was having trouble with my therapist so I called the New York Institute and gave me his name as a consultant. He saw me five times and gave me a better overall idea of my problem than my therapist but helped me figure out what to do. I ended up going back to my therapist and we worked it out but this doctor was the one who helped me clarify things enough so I could work them out. Good for a consultant. Objective, figured things out quick. I felt he had a lot of empathy and didn't act like a big professor. I recommended him to two of my friends and both like him a lot.
