He is one of the most professional doctors with an incredible personality that you will ever meet. I met him for the first time 20 years ago and will never go to anybody else. I sent my daughter to him as well.

I was looking for a GI doctor for my mom and heard about Dr. Broekelschen . His staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Broekelschen is very patient and thorough; you don't feel at all rushed. It's so refreshing to see a doctor that truly cares about his patients.

I went to Dr. Broekelschen for a colonoscopy and follow up visits. I found him to be very professional, easy to talk to and very good with diagnosis and follow up. My wife and mother-in-law went to Dr. Broekelschen as well and found him to be excellent. Bedside manner is wonderful, he explains everything clearly and concisely. Would high recommend him. AND we go over 45 minutes to see him.

Doctor is excellent diagnostician. I would recommend him to anyone who asked.Read other reviews re doing colonoscopy without anesthesia and I feel that it is surely his perogative to do the procedure in the safest way he sees fit.I really trust his judgement.

You are a contracted Blue Cross provider and you will not do a colonoscopy within an anesthesiologist, knowing full well that Blue Cross will not pay. Furthermore, your office does not have the ethics to inform patients of this or offer conscious sedation. Will be filing complaint with Blue Cross and the AMA

Wonderful experience considering the nature of the visit. In response to the rating given before mine, I also have Blue Cross. It was clearly explained that my anesthesia might not be a covered expense dependent upon whether or not my medical condition met with Blue Cross guidelines for anesthesia. I found the doctor and his staff to be caring and cooperative and would highly recommend this office to my friends and family.

I went in for a colonoscopy. The office did not inform me that Blue Cross now does not cover an anesthesiologist for this procedure. As a result, there is no coverage for the sedation and we will be paying the bill. The office knew this was the case, and informed me that they give a blanket statement that insurance may or may not cover procedures. In addition, they said they did not want to get in the middle of this coverage issue so they DO NOT INFORM THE PATIENT THAT THERE IS NO INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR SEDATION. Furthermore, the Doctor is a Blue Cross provider and yet will not do the procedure without an anesthesiologist. LACK OF TRANSPARENCY. DECEITFUL
