Is zero stars an option? Rude, hurried, pompous, fake compassion, would never return or recommend anyone I care about to this person

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He was absolutely horrible. Was more worried about the Covid Vaccine than anything. I was referred due to a diagnosis with recommendations for surgery, chemo, and radiation, he basically said my doctor was an idiot...He was pompous and stuck on himself and spoke over me several times and I had a family with me and we all decided I would never return to him for anything. My questions and concerns were dismissed. He had 0 times to address any of my issues because he was full of himself. I respect a lot of doctors do not have a good bedside manner, but, they are phenomenal doctors...HE ISN'T one of the good doctors at all. If I was a weak timid woman I would not have been able to stand my ground with him but I am strong. It bothers me that if another woman comes in there and is not able to have a strong voice they may walk out of there and think nothing about their diagnosis based on his thoughts, they may just think everything is fine and… not get treated, not get a second opinion, but I did and I am so thankful that I did. Thank goodness I am not a weak woman because that's what he apparently prefers, is a weak timid woman that he can walk all over.

Horrible, acted like I was wasting his time. Left there feeling more scared than ever when I expected some reassurance. Wish I could’ve asked a couple more questions but he rushed me out

I can honestly say that I have never had a surgeon or Dr. show so much compassion. Dr. Morris made me so comfortable and helped me when no other surgeon would. I cannot give him enough thanks and praise for him giving me my life back! His entire staff and Methodist Hospital was amazing! I am so grateful. Thanks again, Shannon O.

I would rather go to a veterinarian or a psychic to cure my cancer. This guy is a jerk and so full of himself it’s sickening. Do not go to him. He needs to get himself in check. He is not all that he thinks he is. He is old, but definitely not wise. Stay away, there are plenty of other much more competent physicians. I did my research and and very happy I stopped going to him and chose another oncologist. I would probably be dead by now if I were till going to him.

A caring doctor who treats you gently and with dignity. Taking time to explain procedures in terms you understand. The sign of a truly great doctor is the way he treats his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone unfortunate enough to need his services.

Where to begin to sum up my experience with this person? Pompous, condescending, lack of any compassion towards a dying cancer patient, rude to staff & patient/family, hurried & completely lacked any bedside manner whatsoever. He was just “too important “. Fortunately, he was not my mother’s consistent oncologist. However, he was someone we had the unfortunate experience of having to listen to during hospital stays. He is so full of himself, it's sickening. He actually boasted that his partner (Dr Nadkarni) was a “very caring dr unlike him”. She was great & we appreciated her communication & knowledge. He spoke as if he were superior to her. I would urge you to find a different doctor than Peter Morris if bedside manner, compassion, communication skills & opportunity to be heard are important to your health care. If you like arrogant & rude care providers, then he’s your guy!

I felt he put my mom on the back burner after chemo snd radiation for ovarian cancer. Chemo helped but radiation was awful. She began to lose her sense of taste and took 2 months to scan her because he wasn't sure what was going on. By the time he and her radiologist decided to do a scan, the cancer had spread to her liver and it was too late. At her final appointment my father was told that loss of taste is a sign of liver cancer and that there was nothing else that could be done. We should have been told this when it first became a problem, not when she only had a few weeks to live. I would have thought that when a patient has cancer, if they are struggling a scan would be a priority to ensure it didn't spread. We also received several calls from Methodist asking my mom (who had passed away by this point) to take a survey about her experience.
