Dr. Peter Graham Rose

Dr. Rose was my mother’s doctor. A couple years later my Aunt’s doctor and just 2.5 weeks ago my doctor. I wouldn’t have wanted to go to anyone else but Dr. Rose. He was absolutely wonderful and very professional. I highly recommend Dr Rose for your healthcare needs!!!!

I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 1999 at age 17. My local hospital performed surgery and left tons of cancer still in me. If I wouldnt have traveled to see Dr. Rose I know I wouldn't be here today. He operated immediately, and I've been cancer free for 20 years !!!

Our original local doctor had run out of options to treat my wife for stage 4 cervical cancer. I took my wife to see Dr. Rose. When we saw him he had read my wife's file, which is quite lengthy, and was very familiar with her case. He is extremely knowledgeable and it was obvious that he had a true passion for medicine. He recommended that she try a new treatment being offered in a trial. He was trying to get the trial in place at the clinic but there was still some bureaucratic hurdles to get over before it would be in place so, he recommended that we see a doctor at UPMC whom already had the trial in place and running there. Had we not seen him, my wife would now be gone, but thanks to him and Dr. Robert Edwards at UPMC, my wife is still with us and doing quite well. He is an exceptional physician and we highly recommend him.

My sister has been gone nearly 10 years, yet it's like yesterday. She had Dr. Rose for her "care," which began with a hysterectomy for suspected ovarian cancer. He did not think he would find cancer, so he opted to give her a transverse (low, horizontal) incision rather than a vertical inclusion. Who does that?! He missed being able to see the whole picture of my sister's cancer. I took her to MD Anderson in Houston for a second opinion, and that doctor was very surprised to see the type of incision she had. On top of it, an additional surgeon was present during the hysterectomy, a urologist, because my sister needed help with support of her bladder. This surgeon inserted mesh in her bladder, and that precluded my sister from being able to receive the "belly wash" type of chemo, which doctors at MD Anderson would have recommended. My sister may never have been cured, but she could have had a better quality of life, and quite possibly a few more years. She had only 18… months. Just so sad. I could go on about Dr. Rose's negligence and absence of compassion, but I can only hope someone out there is reading this review and will choose another doctor for her care.

Dr. Rose was one of the worst doctors I have been in contact with. He was rude and offered 0 bedside manner. My mom liked his PA, but I felt she was just as rude and condescending. I cannot speak on him as a surgeon, as my mother had surgery prior to seeing him. But when shown a radiation burn in my mother's abdomen, Dr. Rose stated that he had no idea what it was. I will not go so far to say my mother would still be with us had she not been under the care of Dr. Rose, but I know for certain her quality of life would have been so, so much greater.

Dr. Rose is very knowledgeable, smart, kind and considerate. He has a very warm personality and his attention is on you at your appointment.He always reviews chart carefully before speaking to you, which I think is an excellent quality. I know that he is very detail oriented and has the best plan for me. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

I read the reviews prior to my initial visit with Dr. Rose. I did not find these reviews accurate. He was very nice and patient. He treated myself and my husband with respect. Dr. Rose answered all of our questions and even cracked a few jokes with us under a stressful situation. We go back for a follow up soon and I hope the apt goes smooth and quick. After all I have read he is extremely knowledgeable. All I care about is him addressing my health issues, he can be rude to us if he wants just take care of me! No complaints yet all the staff was great!

You end up being just a number at the clinic. Doesn't remember what his plan is or was from appointment to the next. Don't trust his Physician Assistant. She says stuff that is not accurate then Dr.Rose corrects her. She thinks she is the Dr. What a joke!

Outstanding doctor! Dr. Rose is the best of the best. He and his staff are all so kind, compassionate, efficient and thorough. We thank God!!!

Okay, look, this guy may be some sort of Gynecological rain man, but you can't tell me that his expertise exempts him from sharing once once of kindness with his patients. "Patients First" screams the Cleveland Clinic. Apparently, Rose didn't get the memo. GET THIS MAN SOME SENSITIVITY TRAINING. It's such a shame to sully his considerable skill set with him pissing poor behavior.
