Dr. Peter Hashisaki

Early in 2019, I spent 18 days in the hospital due to a staph infection and resulting explant of hip hardware that I received almost 2 months earlier. Dr. Hashisaki was the consulting doctor my ortho surgeon, another excellent doctor, chose. Dr. H got me through staph infection, toxic shock syndrome, and an extreme allergic reaction to one of the antibiotics that was tried for the infection. Dr. H kept a very close watch on my case and his bedside manner was the best of my 65 years. He visited me every morning except on a couple of days off when he made sure one of his partners checked in on me on those days. Dr. H was quickly responsive to reactions I had to various medicines, stopping one med or another and trying something else, until he found an antibiotic my body accepted. Every hospital staff person had outstanding comments about Dr. Hashisaki which comforted me as I was going through the scariest experience of my life. Dr. H followed my case after I returned home since I… was still on daily antibiotics through a pik line, answering any questions I had through his staff, or himself personally. I want to mention lastly, but also important, given the seriousness of Dr. H's practice, he has a delightful sense of humor. I believe the Lord blessed me by placing me in Dr. Hashisaki's care.

Dr. Hashisaki is an amazing physician. He has been working with my daughter for years. She has a very complicated medical condition. There have been times when my daughter had no one else to go to that could or was willing to help her. But Dr. Hashisaki has always been there for her. His skills, knowledge, and compassion are above and beyond the norm by Miles. In my opinion he has saved her life a couple times. We are grateful for Dr. Hashisaki, he is the best.

I met Dr. Hashisaki as he was the doctor who was called in when I was diagnosed with C. Diff. He came to see me every day and never made me feel like I was taking too much of his time. More recently, the hospital suspected C. diff and called in Dr. Hashisaki who quickly determined that my symptoms did not seem indicative of C. Diff anc promptly called my GI specialist. He was right to do so as I had a partial bowel obstruction. Even though my last encounter with Dr. Hashisaki didn’t involve an infectious disease, he advocated for me And visited me daily while I was recovering. He truly cares about his patients and is a very competent and compassionate physician.

He has saved my life and encouraged me to keep going for over a decade. I cannot imagine going to another doctor.

Dr. Hashisaki, thank you for being my Dr, while I was based in Bellevue and now back in Africa. You are an excellent Doctor and will miss my visits to your office. To everyone that needs a caring and attentive Doctor please go to Dr. Hashisaki. I hope you will one day visit East Africa as we discussed . Karibu Sana .

Always anwsers questions in a manner that I am able to look up additional information on the internet. Great staff. Courteous and professional.

Dr. Hashisaki's staff was very helpful in making sure I received the appointments Dr. Hashisaki had requested. I had minimal wait time for my visit. Staff was very pleasant. Dr. Hashisake was quite patient with my questions, followed up appropriately.Highly recommend him.
