Dr Kobes and his office to not respond to patient concerns or requests. Terrible.

If you are going to see Dr. Kobes at the Spartanburg Office DO NOT US$E YOUR GPS to get there. I had a 2:00pm Appointment to see him. After driving around the hospital for 15 minutes trying to locate the office I fially stopped and called. I told the girl who answered were we were and couldn't find the office.She told us that the street (Catawaba) the GPS was trying to take us to no longer existed. She told us what to do and we were only 1 block away. by the time we got to the building, found parking, walked through the lot to the building, took the elevator and got to the desk, the receptionist Shannon who was the girl I talked to on the phone snipped Your late for your appointment I explained what happened she said I know, I don't know why most GPS's do that but it happens all the time and told me to havw a seat. I did ,about 10 minutes later she calls me up to the desk and says we're going to have to reschedule you. I said I don't think so and left. If they know tere is a prblem… with GPS directions why don't they tell you this when they call to remind you of your appointment? Although DR Kobes seems to be a good DR . His Staff could use some help wiyh pt relations

Very professional, yet he explains everything so that the patient understands what is going to happen in surgery. He calmed my anxiety about my procedure. Highly recommend

I have always used these doc my whole family comes her. We all have a different doc but the care provided is excellent

Dr Kobes is a friendly, caring doctor, very approachable and explains things well. His staff is great and knowledgable. I have been his patient for three years.

After some initial problems getting an appointment we have been quite satisfied with Dr Kobes and the Spartanburg Gastroenterology group. Dr Kobes is an informed physician and his staff is friendly, helpful and caring. Wait times are not excessive to get in and once he is with you he is attentive, caring, helpful and, I believe a good Doctor. He has treated my wife with success for about two years and I am appreciative of the treatment. I would certainly recomment this Dr and this group.

Both my wife and I were provided this recommendation from our family physician. Both of our experiences were exceptionally good. Dr. Kobes is a caring, intellectual physician who has an effective bedside manner and works to assure that information is clearly shared. The nurses on the floor said that they think Dr. Kobes one of the best. We always view their opinions highly. We are fortunate to have him in our geographic area.

Dr Kobes treated me in the hospital, after different doctor (not from this practice), blotched my surgery. He was professional and caring and promptly treated my issue. His office called to check on me after I was released from the hospital and after the outpatient procedure. Dr. Kobes, himself, called once as well. Through my entire experience, which involved several specialist, Dr kobes and his staff were the only ones to seem to care. They took the time to listen to me and answer any and all questions, thoroughly explaining. Everyone in his office has been very nice and compassionate, truly making me feel the patient matters to them. I highly recommend.
