Dr. Schlegel is world class and an expert in his field. He’s gone above and beyond to assist me in every way humanly possible. He’s compassionate with his time, empathetic when it’s needed, and will call it like it is- something that seems to be missing in the field of Urology.

My experience with Dr Schlegel has been very positive. He is the best in the business as far as his medical expertise is concerned but the most impressive thing is that he thinks in the best interest of his patients. My case was such that in several semen analysis I wouldn’t have any motile sperm but then there will be a one of where they will see some. I took Clomid for several months but that didn’t change much. Dr Schlegel took a very conservative yet effective approach. He asked me to provide fresh ejaculate several times on the day when my wife’s egg retrieval was scheduled to make sure we first try to avoid my micro-TESE and it worked. They were able to find enough sperm to fertilize all the 13 eggs that they were able to retrieve. I was much prepared for the surgery but eventually I didn’t had to go through it. His nurse Kathleen Hart is awesome too.

Dr. Schlegel is amazing. He is extremely competent in dealing with male fertility and spent a great amount of time answering my questions. He also has significant expertise in assisted reproduction generally. He is a kind and gentle man and did not rush me at all. He responds to my e-mails months after my appointment. If you have a male fertility problem and want the best, this is the person to see.

I couldn't recommend this man highly enough. He is a brilliant dr. and a personable and kind individual. He spends time with his patients, listens carefully and doesn't give unrealistic hope. He tells it like it is, but in a kind way. You couldn't do better with any other dr. He is the best of the best.
