I’m so thankful to have had Dr. Ray as my surgeon for my second breast reduction. It was a complicated case, but he was very informative, knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns and made sure that all my needs and expectations were met. My surgery was flawless and his staff was easily reachable when I had questions regarding post op limitations. I would highly recommend Dr. Ray to anyone! He is truly an exceptional physician with perfect bedside manner.

Dr. Ray was simply an incredible doctor, both technically and in his genuine care for my well-being. He was always available to answer my many questions and I truly felt like I could rely on him. He really went above and beyond the call of duty to ease my mind. I went in for a ruptured implant and soon found out that my implants were toxic and needed to be removed ASAP as they could be poisoning my body! His calm demeanor, professionalism, and excellent communication skills kept me from many panic attacks as I researched the serious health problems many other women had experienced with these same implants. He listened to all of my concerns and fears before and after my surgery and was readily available to talk me through them and provide additional tests to rule out potential problems as I experienced some ongoing issues. If I were to ever consider getting (or undoing) any type of elective surgery, I wouldn’t think twice of flying to get it done by Dr. Ray, he has earned my… absolute trust and gratitude.

I recently had an abdominalplasty and Dr. Ray was wonderful. I was very nervous and had many questions at the consultation and he really listened and created a plan that worked for me. I did not want to use narcotics after surgery and he was very supportive of my decision. I'm 11 days post op and feel great. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Dr. Ray 1000%.

Dr. Ray performed otoplasty on my son and did a wonderful job! He and his staff were the nicest, most personable doctors that I have encountered. He personally stayed in touch with us after the surgery and was helpful with any questions we had. We are also very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend him!

When I first met Dr. Ray, I had a very severe problem that came from the result of cancer treatment. My face and scalp were disfigured from both surgery and Radiation treatments. Dr. Ray agreed to help me when no other Plastic Surgeon would (and I had seen about 5 of them by that point). Dr. Ray brought me back to my normal appearance and I am eternally grateful to him. He had the best bedside manner and is clearly one of the most skilled surgeons in my town of Birmingham, as none of the other Plastic Surgeons I sae felt they could help me and were afraid even to try.
