Dr Peter Ryg is a very skilled eye surgeon. He operated on my cateract on my left eye and implanted a multifocal premium lens. Next day my vision is absolutely amazing! It took me 5 years to find the surgeon I was the most comfortable with and trusted with my eyes due to other health conditions after consults with various highly regarded eye surgeons. I highly recommend him! He's with Eye Physicians of Austin in Austin, TX. Very much a skilled and remarkable eye surgeon!! I'm so happy I found him!!

I have an eye condition that requires intensive treatments and I've seen quite a few physicians over my years (68 yrs) Dr Ryg is a wonderful doctor and human being. Excellent treatment and a caring person. Always a bit of humor and a friendly smile. Thank you!

He is patient; he listens; he answers in great detail and straightforwardness; but most of all, he delivers when the time comes with consummate skill and professionalism. Would not recommend making an appointment on Saturday as he sees patients back to back and does not have time to discuss real issues. Just wants patients in and out. Unfriendly and does not communicate with the patient.
