Dr. Peter Glenn Sultan, MD

I had a TKR with Dr Sultan in Jan 2019 at Peconic bay hospital from start to Finish it was an awful experience. I never recieved the proper care I needed , his bedside manner and follow up was awful - he promised me he would be the only one to close up my surgery but he never did that my scar is way to big and long and crooked ! I was ne er going to go back again because he thinks he’s above any questions , his ego was out of control with each year that passed . His only concern was his piano playing , his constant attention and establishing himself as a star surgeon . When I heard of his untimely death the only take away was now all his future patients can finally get the best care they will need with another Dr that doesn’t need all that attention! I had hip surgery in CA at LA jolla Torry pines hospital and I can tell you they were top notch ! Dr Copp is a rock star So do your homework .

Could not recommended. Dr Sultan did not offer any help to resolve a need for knee surgery. He stated he did not have the time and referred me to another doctor by handing me a business card.

I went to Dr. Sultan because all of friends refer to him as the best. Once I met him and his amazing office staff, it was clear why he is so loved by our community. Thank you for taking care of me Dr. Sultan.

Dr. Sultan is a great surgeon. He made my mother walk again. I can't thank him enough! We are lucky to have him on the East End.

I had tkr 9 months ago. Despite physical therapy and still going to a gym 2-4 times a week, I am still in pain. Have not had a single day that my knee does not hurt. When I spoke to the doctor at the 3-4 month mark, he told me that the knee was heeling perfectly, in the right position, and pain must be from something else, and therefore not his problem because it wasn't surgical. really? Never went back to him. Searching for a doctor that actually cares about his patients after surgery.

Great and caring surgeon. I was scared and frightened after a fall while visiting my daughter in the Hamptons. Never had any major surgery, since 2016. Surgeon was assuring and kind. Great results to date. Now rehabbing in NYC. Cannot say thank you enough
