Dr. Petr Bocek, MD

Dr. Bocek is the best hands down. I can go on and on about how he took the time to develop a treatment plan for my daughter. He is a Godsend.

I see the doctor regarding my persistent and severe hives problem and I am happy with the treatment result. He takes time to listen to patient's concern; discusses possible causes of the problem; treatment options; and its positive and negative effects. He is great in his medical practice and in his relationship with his patients. He is one of the bests doctors in Manassas I came across with. I visited him for spring allergy and the service I received was good

As a long time patient of Dr. Bocek I would like to rebuke the most recent review on this site. Dr. Bocek was seriously ill for couple of months this past spring and thankfully fully recovered and is back in office on full time basis since July. It is true that during his absence the VA office was open only once a week and would get very busy with shot patients on those days. However, even then I would not have to wait more than 15 minutes to get my shots. In many other allergy offices the wait time is much longer. Also, his Manassas office is open 3 times per week until either 5:30 or 6:00pm for walk-in shot patients, again later hours than most other allergy offices around. I was informed that the office is currently integrating new reminder system since they are no longer able to send mass emails to patients. Also, their website always has an update on office closings. The information is not on the home page but under "Updates and Announcements" button.

I have been an allergy patient of Dr. Bocek for almost as long as he's had a practice in Manassas (over 3 years) At first, it was fine (the person who administers the shots is great), but in the last year or so, the immunotherapy walk-in times have shrunk. He opened another office in Germantown, MD, and switched the days he was in the Manassas office. I've adjusted my schedule accordingly, but the office is closed more and more often as the weeks go by. And all he does to notify patients of the closure is to post a sign on the office door. No email sent out, no update on his website. So now, when the office is open, everyone is coming in at the same time and it takes a long time to get your shots.

I have had life-long asthma and seen many specialists over the years. When I have asthma flare ups, it is frightening and limiting. I have a family and a demanding job which requires travel. O am always afraid of encountering triggers, i.e., smoke, mold, new carpet, and so on. Dr. Bocek took time to understand my type of asthma. He considered my input as well as his own diagnostics. He was attentive and knowledgeable. Tons of patience and I knew he wanted to see me have a more normal life. People underestimate how devastating and limiting asthma can be. He was careful in his approach and developed early trust with me. His nurse was also excellent. She was kind and personable, plus efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Bocek.

I have never had such a positive experience with a doctor.... wish he could be my primary doctor. Dr Bocek takes time, really listens and explains everything so it is easy to understand. He has worked effortlessly to be sure I received a medication that was denied by my insurance company. The staff is outstanding... also pleasant, helpful and caring. I always receive prompt return on my calls and Dr Bocek often talks to right away. Dr Bocek and his staff make you feel like you are the most important patient. Can't say enough about Dr Bocek and his wonderful staff.

Great doctor, exceptionally knowledgeable, truly cares about your problems; very thorough, will explain everything in detail, suggests therapeutic options and will make sure you get better.
