Dr. Philip G Foutch

I've been seeing Dr. Foutch for more than 25 years. He is warm and very professional. I've had several problems with my upper as well as lower GI system over the years and Dr. Foutch has diagnosed and taken care of my issues properly. I believe he has prevented me from having more serious problems due to his diligence in handling my ailments. I recommend Dr. Foutch to any of my friends and acquaintances that are in need of a gastro doctor.

I have never been to a doctor that made me feel as comfortable as Dr Foutch. He's been my G.I. doctor for over 18 years. I'm surprised by reviews that complain about his friendly nature, that's exactly what I like. He's a genuine person who doesn't try to talk above you and shows interest in your care. He's my doctor as long as he wants me.

He really is a piece of work. It's worth seeing him, not for medical advice, but for a look into another world. He is like one of those strange 'Seinfeld' characters.

At first Dr Foutch scared me a little. He looks like private Bob. But after talking and talking some more, I realized that he is just like me. He examined me, scheduled the colon evaluation and had me eat more meat. Now I am a meat eating nut and feel great. I am sending my partner to see 'Dr F'. I am confident he can help him too. PS: He is an animal lover. Horses all over the walls.

Our meeting was uncomfortable. I have never had someone call me 'hun' so much before. It was difficult to even remember what he said. While leaving he pet my shoulder like I was a dog.

Dr Foutch is one of the Best Drs. I have seen! He has been in constant touch with my surgeon and was very thorough in his exam, endoscopy and diagnosis.

I have agian waited for over 2 hours to see Dr Foutch. He arrived and told me he had to save a life. This is the third life he has saved before one of my visits. I have decided to leave before I become one of these people - if they really exist.

I am very surprised at the less then flatering reviews with Doctor Foutch. His office staff was well above average, and he took his time with me during my initial consulatation, and answered al of my concerns and issues. My colonoscopy procedure was scheduled at the Desert Colonocopy center in Tempe. Though I was dreading having to go through this, the staff there is very professional and caring! They take such care in making you feel as comfortable as they can under the circumstances! The only issue I had was the long wait at the center, prior to the surgery.

I waited for almost 2 hours in an exam room, that I kid you not, had more than six pictures of Dr Foutch on the wall along with a bunch of award plaques. He finally showed up, and was not all that helpful. I will not be returning.
