Dr. Phillip David Boyer

Not happy with the result. I was not told that I would be given the lens that would neither let me have my long clear viewing nor the close distance clear view. I ended up with say 20" distance focus ! If I were discussed what range I would like to keep, I would have decided accordingly. With my other eye that still need to go for cataract surgery but I can see long distance much clearer and that makes me dizzy using both the eyes right now. Now I don't know what would be my option anyway for 2nd eye power to be used. I am afraid to have 2nd eye operated at all! I wish I was informed that with new lens, my viewing area will be reduced, I feel strain on the corner/s of my operated eye while looking on sides. Also I feel as if shrunken feeling inside my eye socket. Is this common? I don't know!

I was referred to Dr. Boyer for my cataracts. Sure am happy with the results. I had previously had lasik, so he informed me he could not guarantee perfect vision, but it has turned out very well. I was nervous with the first surgery, but it was so easy and painless. He is very friendly and his staff is thorough and helpful.

He acted very jumpy and unable to keep focused on the exam.
