Dr. Phillip Herschel Fisher, MD

Dr. takes his time if you have questions, friendly etc. Recent replacement of a staff member was BEST improvement ever ????

Dr. Fisher has been my physician for over 40 years. He has always listened to health concerns and addressed them seriously. He takes time to explain diagnosis' and test results with his patients, as well as discussing prescribed medications and any alternatives. Dialogue is very important to me. He's well read, and he keeps up with current and evolving Medical Science, tests, procedures, and medications. His Office Staff have also been friendly, professional, accommodating, and efficient. Those are some of the many reasons I've stayed with him for 4 decades.

Dr Fisher has been a wonderful doctor for our family. He is very good at diagnosis and has noticed several things that required further care over the years. Our youngest is 30 years old, and dr. Fisher has been our doctor since our youngest was an infant.

After being a patient of Dr. Fishers for 40+ years, I just recently started having issues with getting my prescriptions filled. His current office staff has neglected for over a week to fill a medication that I have been on for the last 10 years. I have called multiple times in regards to the pharmacy stating the medication was not there but the office staff kept assuring me it was. Finally after being fed up because my medication was finally out, about the fourth time I called, they decided to tell me that they weren't going to fill it if I didn't come in for a physicians visit. Although I felt that was unfair and unnecessary, I agreed. During the visit, I brought it to Dr. Fishers attention that his staff was treating me poorly. They said they went above and beyond for me but that was not the case. All I wanted was my medicine. Even after my visit, my medication was nowhere to be found. So I called again and again. Debbie, his head office staff, and I had a minor argument the last… time we spoke which resulted in things getting sorted out. I got my medicine that day. The real kicker is though, that I received a letter in the mail a day later stating that they were terminating my service and I was no longer eligible for being a patient of my physician of 40 years. I feel that this treatment is discrimination on behalf of the Dr and his office staff. It's sad to see that he would rather terminate a long-term relationship than simply fix the problem. how unprofessional.

This guy could care less about your health. Just worried about getting paid, selling his vitamins, and hawking things on t.v. Not recommended.

He is a great doctor, and has taken great care of me for over 25 years through a very complicated health path. Having a doctor like Dr. Fisher always there for me through these years fighting MS and all it's many complications has helped me live my life more successfully. He's really been terrific on every measurable level.

Only difficulty is a one month delay in making an appointment. Will try to get a an answer by web exploration.

If you're sick or injured Dr. Fisher is the only doctor in Sylvania, Toledo, or surrounding areas who you must go to for a DX, treatment, or be directed to the proper people to treat your concerns. With the knowledge of 30 some years as a Family Physician like his father, you can be assured of fast, compassionate, and honest treatment. He has saved my life more than once with my pneumonia,leukemia,and fast referrals which resulted in a quadruple bypass.
