Dr. Phillip Ross Mason

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dr Mason. I found him to be kind, thorough and identified my issue quickly and is working to resolve the problem. I am very pleased so far with my level of treatment. I would highly recommend him to others seeking orthopedic care. Office staff was friendly and helpful.

Dr.Mason is a judgmental arrogant doctor. He was in the room with us less that 8 minutes and already told us that his patient (my cousin) wouldn't wear a back brace so it's useless to order a $1500 back brace. With 30°+ curve, he advised that there's nothing that would help and that her pain is not coming from the scoliosis. He pretty much talked down to us as if we were wasting his time. He gave us inaccurate information saying that her curve wouldn't progress. However at her age, my curvature was at 21° and 20 yrs later is at 60° and I have severe back pain. This is a serious case of malpractice. This office also needs a diversity check. There were only 2 people of color working in the office. If you dont think enough of minority people to hire them, then surely you dont care enough about us to treat us! Will definitely not refer anyone to this office. Novant..do better
