I have found Dr. Blake and his staff to be very professional and friendly.

I was very unhappy with dr Blake and his staff. He and his staff were not friendly and not honest about the amount that we would be charged. They didn't seem to care if we could afford it or not. All they cared about was getting their money. We were shocked about the amount we were charged. So far only 2 visits less than 20 minutes total. Over 800 dollars. We Had to pay 3/4 of that amount up front. Pretty had to do when your poor and on food stamps. What happened to doctors caring about helping patients even if they couldn't pay the total at that time. I can understand why his ratings are so low

In July 2014 he performed a "tube insertion procedure" to check my prostate in his "operating room" in his office building. About midway during this operating procedure (I was exposed) he "forgot" a crucial medication and called in to the operating room one of his office staff members to go to a local pharmacy to obtain it (I feel he put me in danger because of this incompetency). The office staff member then came back into the operating room to hand him the medication. The other office staff members, for whatever reason, were also coming in and out of the operating room during this procedure (These staff members were administrative people, not nurses). After the procedure, he went on to tell me that I would need another follow-up surgery since this one "did not go very well" ($$$$??). After this incompetency, unprofessionalism and humiliation I decided to go to another, more competent,… urologist instead. After a complete diagnosis from a qualified professional, it was determined that I did not require any of these expensive and non-productive operating procedures at all.
