Dr. Phu Dinh Vu

I had a serious issue with an old old surgery, swelling, extreme pain!! I waited in the er waiting room for over 2 hours, but as soon as I saw the Dr. he quickly examined me, left the room and consulted with another Dr, and quickly came back with a plan of action! He was thorough and to the point!! I was out of there in less than 30 minutes!! On my way home and feeling much better !! He also put my mind at ease about my problem!! Wonderful Doctor!! If I need to go to the er in the future I will go back to St Joseph, St Charles!! Thank you Dr Phu!!

Bad review. After an auto accident, I was taken to the trauma unit at SSM. Apparently Dr. Vu came in at sometime gave some instructions and charged $ 1882.00. He is an independent roaming doctor and uses his own billing agents. I have spent 15 months trying to resolve his charges. Beware, within 3 months of my accident he had 3 billing agencies. Still not resolved. As of Mar. 20,2018.

I was in a MVA (motor vehicle accident) with damage to my jaw. It took Dr. Vu almost 2 hours to see me. He poked around my wounds and prescribed me within minutes. I was upset at the lack of thoroughness and the speedy diagnosis. I believe this happened because I don't have insurance.

Father was flown by helicopter to St. Charles MO in cardiac arrest. It took Dr. Vu 50 minutes before he even looked at him and went into code blue within the first few minutes of evaluation. SSM and Dr. Vu took no responsiblity. Nice Job Dr. Vu you will never know what kind of man you let die by you and the hospital staff. NOTE: if someone is flown by helicopter that means life threatening not see you in 50 minutes as you should have met the helicopter on the pad when it landed. He could be here today. Also when he went into code blue they would not let family members in the room but SSM policy states family members can be at their side but the report Dr. Vu put together stated wife by his side not TRUE THEY BLOCKED US FROM COMING IN.
