Dr. Pierre Bourgon, MD

After meeting this doctor I realized why he has so many horrible reviews. He looks to be nearly eighty years old and has horrible communication problems. Being a parent of a special needs child, I can tell you that this man knows nothing about making a child feel comfortable. His office staff was very rude, rushed us through exam, and treated us as if we were a problem. Obviously someone from their office is posting 5 star reviews because there is no way any patient's parent has been happy with the service he provides.

I was nervous to take my son here after reading some of the mixed reviews. My son just turned 6 (literally the day he visited Dr. Bourgon was his 6th birthday). He did speak directly to my son as well as me, his bedside manor was fine for me, and he's seemed very thorough, the staff was very friendly and nice (I will note that there seems to be a shared waiting area for the pediatric office next door and the staff for that doctor seemed a little less friendly). My over all impression...I'm glad I took my son here and I do feel like he is getting great care.

Office staff was very rude. Doctor rushed us out of there in no time. Wrong diagnosis. Do not waste your day with this eye doc. He is very old and grouchy and his office staff plays on their cell phone right in front of you!

Dr. Bourgon spent a lot of time with my daughter and I feel he was super thorough. My daughter being 3 was very rambunctious and Dr. Bourgon was very patient throughout the entire process.

Staff is Rude and not helpful at all. Never going back, I do not recommend this office to anyone!!

Very good my kids have been seeing for 10 years. he is a very knowledgeable but strict with what ever that he ask to be done, as a parents I just had to do my homework. very good ophthalmologist!!

In your first visit you might feel the doctor is not focusing on you but that is what he is, very calm, humble and detail oriented doctor. I met another doctor who just spent 10 minutes and prescribed glasses and no improvement. He has spent decent time and diagnosed very well and I can see good improvement on my kid cross eye. I truly recommend him. Staff is good especially receptionists are very kind.

Due to the mixed reviews on here I almost did not go. Im so glad I did! I was able to get in right away and the doctor was so thorough. His staff was very kind and his tech was knowledgeable and very helpful in answering all my questions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bourgon and we will be visiting his office again!

Dr Bourgon is excellent. He has been my sons doctor since he was diagnosed when he was only 4 months old. my son is now 11 years old and i am very happy we choose Dr Bourgon.
