Dr. Prabodh Kumari Kapila, MD

One of the best rheumatologists in Plantation or anywhere else. She was my doctor for almost 10 years before I moved out of state. Very personable, kind, listens to your problems, and does her very best at each appointment. Sheela Cooper

It's only about twice sense I have been going to Dr. Kapila that I had too wait more than 2 hours. I have been going to her about 6-7 years now. Very patience with her patients.

Over a 2 hour wait every time I've gone. Never seen the doctor but have been to the waiting room 3 times.

I have seeing Dr Kapila for 2 years now, I have Fibromyalgia which is not an easy condition to treat as there is no clear treatment that will work. She is very compassionate and takes her time with her patient which is not the norm here is S Florida. Yes, you will wait to see her like many doctors but at least after you wait, you will get more than 5 minutes of her time like other doctors I have seen. She will continue to try different treatments to see what works and she is very supportive. I would recommend her to anyone.

More interested in money and income than patients. Charges to complete preprepared forms from government agencies.

you might have to wait for the DR. for a while but you understand once she sees you.. she does not rush you and cares about you and spends time with you.I came to her in so such pain i couldn't lift my arms ,brush my teeth curl my hair,ect. and get out of bed without my husbands help and i'm not old...to me she is amazing and caring i love her.she did not give me pain meds to easy my pain and send me on my merry way. what i'm taking she had me go have blood work done sent me to an eye institute before she would prescibe what she wanted me to have.I feel blessed to have her as my Dr. Also the women in the office are so kind and funny in a good way make you at ease.....staff is good and helpful..if you hurt and HAVE to go to a Dr and are leary about treatment and scared as i was she is worth the wait..!!

Dr.Kapila is highly qualified, highly professional, yet approachable (she actually speaks to patients on the phone before and after regular hours!) well-informed on the latest developments in her field and is painstakingly thorough. She is extremely well-liked by her patients and colleagues alike. Doctors prefer to see her themselves as patients and send their relatives to her for treatment. Her bedside manner is amazing, and she strives for the utmost quality of life for everyone, despite their age. Although there can be a wait to see her, she always takes necessary time with each person, so she's worth the wait! The staff even lets us call ahead, so we don't spend unnecessary time in the waiting room. She's a TOP DOC! I don't know ANYONE who would rate her only 2.5 stars. SHE'S LIKE MARY POPPINS:PRACTICALLY PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! I don't know ANYONE who EVER says a negative thing about her!
