Pradeep Mohan has the following 2 specialties
- Plastic Surgery
A plastic surgery specialist is a physician with extensive training in the execution of plastic surgery procedures.
Plastic surgery is the use of surgical procedures to rebuild or reshape injured or misshapen body parts. Congenital defects, such as a cleft lip or palate, can be corrected by a plastic surgery specialist. Injuries sustained during auto accidents also may require the services of a plastic surgery specialist. These procedures fall under the category of reconstructive plastic surgery.
The other category of plastic surgery is cosmetic plastic surgery. Plastic surgery specialists often perform procedures like breast augmentation, face lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction, and lip injection as elective surgeries for patients who wish to make aesthetic improvements.
- Surgery of the Hand
Hand surgeons are certified surgeons who are also experts in the function and structure of your wrists, hands and forearms. This allows them to treat arthritis, carpal tunnel, trigger finger and tennis elbow, most of which tend to result from repetitive and excessive use of the corresponding joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Hand surgeons also commonly work with patients who have fractures or broken bones from any kind of accident. If you're experiencing any kind of general pain in your hand, wrist or forearm that isn’t going away, a hand surgeon is probably your best resource.

I had a mastectomy due to breast cancer. That surgery was not performed by Dr. Mohan. I developed MRSA in that breast and my surgeon had left for Argentina. His stand in doctor was swamped. My family doctor said I needed to see someone immediately and asked Dr. Mohan if he would see me. Dr. Mohan had just moved into his office, had a waiting room full of patients and was sick but he said, if I would wait until he had seen his own patients, he would see me. I waited. When it was my turn, I went to remove my shirt and the black spot on my chest wall burst and pus shot out of it. He told me to go downstairs to admitting and he would do surgery on me right then. He was sick and he was tired but he put me first. Subsequently he performed four more surgeries on me, extensive, complicated surgeries to include breast reconstruction. He took tissue from my back, leaving its blood supply intact, threading this tissue through and under my armpit and covering a breast prosthesis with it. He was always kind, punctual (unless he was dealing with an emergency), and totally professional. He went so far as to give me his personal cell phone number and told me to use it if I had an emergency situation and could not wait for his call service to contact him. I have referred several of my friends to him because he also does excellent hand surgery. Another thing I greatly appreciated about him is that he stayed local after complex surgeries. Twice, I've had surgeons leave the country after doing surgery on me and I have had complications and no one to handle them. Dr. Mohan puts his patients first.
My family and I had the worst experience with Dr. Mohan. He performed surgery on a family member, the surgery took about 45 mins. As my family and I waited for Dr. Mohan to come out to update us on how the surgery went, Dr. Mohan walked straight past us like we didn't even exist. We were a little confused as how the surgery went, was my family member okay, etc. As we waited 30 more mins for this doctor to come back out and update us, he never did. A couple of family members went up to his office to asked his nurse if everything went okay. She replied " Dr. Mohan said to go back down and sit and he will come when he can!" (In a very rude manner) They came back down and we waited approximately another 45 mins and still nothing. So at this point we were very worried and thinking the worst. I then got up and went to the admission area and reached out to the receptionist asking about my family member's condition. They contacted Dr. Mohan's office and we're told to inform us to wait until the doctor got down there. After waiting a total of 1 1/2 hours after my family members surgery Dr. Mohan comes to the waiting area with a very bad attitude informing my family that he does have other patients. We told him we understood him having other patients in all but then explained to him that he was performing surgery on one patient at the moment and it was only right to at least let the family know that the surgery went okay and explain that you had somewhere else to be but will return when you're done. He begin yelling and pointing his finger in my family's faces making comments about the insurance my family member had.( Medicare) Stating that he wasn't even getting a full payment anyways. While pointing his fingers at my aunt he even went as far as pushing his finger into the folds of her arm. At this point my aunt asked him not to do that so he called down security to stand by him while refusing to even tell us the condition of my family member. He wanted to let us know that things were going to go his way and his way only. He then left everyone standing around so confused and heart broken that a doctor could behave in this manner. It breaks my heart to know that a doctor is even allowed to treat a patient or the patient's family this way because of the type of insurance they have. We will not be using Dr. Mohan again in the future nor will we return to CTMC if this is the type of doctor they allow to Practice there.
