Dr. Preetinder Paul Singh Brar, MD

Dr. Brar is an extremely wise, caring physician. He has helped me and my son immensely. He has years of experience. I work in healthcare and have been around doctors all my life and he is a true gem. Remember he is a psychiatrist and not a psychologist. He deals with the brain and medications. If you want to talk about all of your problems and drama in your life I would recommend a psychologist. I highly recommend him for medication management and diagnosing psychiatric brain disorders.

Unprofessional Doctor. Dealing with Anxiety/depression and during a session Dr. Brar said I was one of the most selfish individuals he ever met. Not the most professional wording when someone is seeking assistance.

He literally told me I was being "dramatic" when I cried in front of him while talking about my childhood abuse.

For over 10 years, I have visited Dr. Brar for personal counseling as well as minimal medication. Always, he and his staff are friendly, kind and express concern for my well-being. I believe anyone who would initiate an appointment with Dr. Brar would be impressed. Sincerely, BSS

Dr. Brar is a caring and thoughtful individual. He asks the right questions to drill down to find the source of my problem(s). He gives me the benefit of a doubt and makes me feel like he really does want me to be well. Keep in mind that he is a *psychiatrist* (a medical doctor and can prescribe medication). His job is to figure out what the source of my problem is and to help me get better. If you are looking for someone to talk with for 30-60 minutes about your family/work problems and disappointments in life, then you need to find an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (therapists). Dr. Brar can give you a recommendation. The office staff is friendly and there is hardly ever a wait time. Just make sure you show up on time! I would never switch doctors. He didn't bother to give me any information about the medication he prescribed and didn't bother taking the time to hear about any possible side effects. He accused me of lying about my symptoms without letting me fully describe them. Then switched medication in a way that made me paranoid and nearly suicidal.

Dr. Brar is by far one of finest Doctors on the east coast he is a brilliant man with an extrodinary talent.

I have been seeing Dr. Brar for over a year now. He is an excellent Dr. that listens and really understands my problems. I feel as though I have been (finally) properly diagnosed. My med management is finally where it needs to be.

I have never met a more uncaring, insensitive and dismissive Dr (& I use the term Dr lightly). He cares not one bit about what you are experiencing in your life and will only make eye contact unless he is berating you. He will leave you waiting for 30+ minutes and then spend maybe 3 minutes with you to write a prescription. I have never known a Dr to label them as a therapist but not spend any time speaking or listening to you. I am vigoursly seeking someone else. The only recommendation I can make would be too steer clear of this man
