Dr. Prem Kumar Nowlakha, MD

If I could give him negative ratings I would. This man yelled at me in his office due to his staff providing me with inaccurate pricing. He created a scene, raised his voice, as well as disrespected me while other patients were around on multiple occasions. In addition he did not use any gloves while preforming my checkup and his staff did not wipe down any of the equipment that was used on me. They charged me around $300 for blood work because they said my insurance would not cover it. I went and called my insurance and they said this is covered under preventative and that all insurance companies cover it. Thankfully the claim was processed and insurance paid but Dr. Nowlakha's office manger refused to give me a refund. I told her I did not want a check because she was trying to give me a partial refund not whole. They have no respect for their patients and Dr. Nowlakha violated HIPAA by disclosing another patients information to me. They clearly have not been educated properly and do… not know any manners. Do not take your friends, family, even your enemies there. Dr. Nowlakha is the WORST PHYSICIAN ever and a horrible person. I have never met such a terrible doctor before. You can evidently tell he is in this profession for the money not the care.

No primary care physician I have ever had has been as thorough or as caring as Dr. Nowlakha. He is an excellent physician. My only complaint is that I had to wait one hour beyond my appointment time to see him. However, I believe that he was spending quality time with another patient, giving him/her his full attention as he gave to me.
