very detailed , compassionate , knowledgeable , caring , she doesnt mind spending more time w/ you than allowed . I love her and will not go to any other doctor except her

I went in to see her for the first time after my gyn noticed a problem with my thyroid after having my second child. I went in and had to take my 3yoson with me. My appt was at 11:45. We waited 10 mins to go in. Once in a room we waited 30mins. She came in, introduced herself and talked to my son about hers whos pictures were all over the room which I found a bit strange. Anywho ahe asked a few questions then invited us into her office in a hurry. Bottom line I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. All she said was "Your thyroid is producing too much." She flapping thru her pages trying to hurry and write up orders. Not explaining at all whar I was just diagnosed with. She told me she was ordering blood test, radiology and so forth. I was starting to freak out a bit. She asked if I had any questions. I said yes "This is all new to me. Is this serious? Is it something that could of been prevented like better diet ect.? I have never heard of this its all new to me." She simply replied in… a hurry "Well there are more serioua thing like Diabetes or cancer. We need to see whats causing it bwfore we know the extent. Like a virus, hepatitis, or an auto immune disease. Do I think your gonna die from this no, not yet!" Seriously!! And all in front my son who later in the car asked if I was gonna die! Who does yhat. I was so upset so very upset thinking I was going to die. I later taljed to other women who have it and am comfortable now. But I will be switching Doctors. One with more common sense and bedside manor!

My wife and I both see Doctor B. I don't remember ever having a doctor with such a terrific bedside manner or who cares as deeply about her patient's welfare. I recall being pumped through other Doctor's offices as if I was a part of their quota. I never feel that way with Dr. Bordador, nor does my wife.

I spent 4 years taking medicine for acid reflux, finally I changed doctors and it was discovered I had gallstones. I was in agony with a heel bone spur when I walked but she refused to give me a handicap sticker. She said I would be dead in three months if I didnt use the CPAP to sleep with. That was 4 years ago. Then she said I was in renal failure and all my lab work has been ok.Believing I was very close to dying I was in a state of depression for most of those four years. My health has improved dramatically since I left her.
