Dr. Priya Dayamani John, MD

Dr. Dayamani was encouraging and motivated me to get busy with making myself healthy. She spent time with me and wasn't rushed at all.

She did not order the correct tests and the tests that she did run, she misinterpreted! She told me there was nothing wrong with me even though my TSH result was suppressed. She also neglected to run antibody tests on me and I found out later from another endocrinologist that I have Hashimoto's. She did not listen to me and didn't seem to be concerned about any of my symptoms. Very disappointed. I would never recommend her to anyone.

I have been seeking answers for a set of conditions for years. She had my information when I went into the room and had obviously previewed it. She spent a great deal of time with me and talking about my numerous medical problems and left me with a plan to go forward and clear instructions on how to prepare for tests that I need to have to confirm a diagnosis. I am so glad a friend recommended her to me. Now I feel like I can finally have a diagnosis and a treatment plan.She is amazing

Wow....must be a lot of planted good reviews for Dr. Dayamani because this was definitely not my experience with her. First of all, an Emory "fellow" interviews you...Then, later, she rushes in....and talks to you briefly.....but you realize later that she hadn't really listened to you.....she will dismiss completely how you are feeling and the symptoms that brought you to her in the first place. I was deeply disappointed. Felt that she might be good at diagnosing simple, easily identifiable endocrine problems....but not very good at diagnosing anything complicated.

After 8 months and 6 other doctors, I finally found Dr. Dayamani. First visit, she found the problem. Dr. Dayamani is very kind and makes her patients feel at ease. If you need an Endocrinologist, don't hesitate to make an appointment with her!

Very kind and patient. She is excellent at breaking down complex medical diagnosis into laymans terms and she doesn't make you feel dumb when she does it.

Dr. Dayamani is very thorough, and her attitude during consultation shows that she really cares about her patients. She spends adequate time getting to know me and my health needs. She is very friendly and I highly recommend her!

DR.DAYAMANI HAS TRUELY BEEN A BLESSING SHE CAME WITH HIGH RECOMENDATIONS IN THE VERY BEGINNING AND UPON MEETING HER AND BECOMING A PATIENT SHE HAS HELPED ME TO BECOME MORE INVOLVED IN MY HEALTH. HER BEDSIDE MANNER IS EXCEPTIONAL.IN SPITE OF THE HEALTH CHALLENGES I FACE SHE ALWAYS HAS A POSTIVE OUTLOOK TO OVERCOMING THE OBSTACLES THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO PUSH A LITTLE HARDER OR GO A LITTLE FURTHER.I WISH WE HAD MORE LIKE HER.

Just returned from a 200 mile trip to take my daughter to dayamani. Was very impressed with her knowledge and caring. My daughter's problem has already been diagnosed as PCOS. Dayamani was the first doctor to really address this and explain a lot about it. For the first time since my daughter's diagnosis, I feel like we may find some answers and help.
