Dr. Priya Pallavi Roy, MD

If I could give negative stars I would!!!!. Priya Roy puts on a great act. I decided to go to her because my Mom does, she is 84. Now that I have had first hand experience I know better. You can NOT ask questions as this irritates her. She told me I was "high maintenance" completely unprofessional for the first time physical. I established care in 10/2024 with Priya Roy's physicians assistant and at that visit she(the PA) had me go for xrays and referred me to the knee specialist Dr Cavanaugh. I have been under his care with multiple appointments since 11/2024 and 2 shots in my knees and additional x-rays from his office on top of the x-rays her PA requested. Now 1/9/2025 I go for my long awaited physical with Priya Roy. Let me state I never received any notification, phone call, mail nothing, that I had blood work to be done and have no prior knowledge of how the office works. So when I first was approached by Priya Roy I stated I don't have blood work so I am not sure why I wasn't… notified. She stated it was my responsibility to call or make sure I had my blood work done. I have never been treated like this from a Dr. So that set the stage. Then she asked me why I was limping and I explained that I have bad knees and I was going to the Dr that your office referred me to... it was like she didn't read my chart or didn't remember me from my Mom's appointment. We talked about how my knees where and the physical therapy that I was doing under Dr Cavanaugh's care. I mentioned he suggested losing weight and she agreed. We talked about Wegovey(spelling?) and I explained I was very concerned about the side effects. She didn't like that I questioned anything she was very argumentative. I am sad that it is my Mom's place as changing for her will be difficult but I will be watching for these add on charges and as I think this policy is being fraudulently abused by this Dr. Of course in my opinion I am taking this to the Insurance Commissioner and the Department of public health.

Good visit as always with Dr. ROY! My visit was on time. Dr Roy is very efficient and caring.

Dr Roy is a wonderful doctor who genuinely cares about her patients. She always spends time to go over things and explain everything very clearly. I’m very thankful to be in the care of such an excellent doctor!

The appointment was good, prompt, efficient and easy.

She’s the worst doctor and very surprised by the positive reviews. She’s super judgy as a person, does not want to see you when you actually have an issue, and her staff is the worst to deal with.

Great visit. Great Dr. and a wonderful human being. Myself and my family have not had the best experiences with "Doctors" over the years and have reason not to be too trusting....But, I have come to trust and value Dr. Roy's advice...she's the best.

My visit to Starling Physician was great, there was no wait time to see the PCP. The Physician allowed me the time to ask questions and she was abe to give a response. The medical assistance was polite, and provide the information to me after checking my vital signs.

Right on time, very thorough. Dr. Roy “gives it to you straight” as they say.
