Dr. Purnell Alexis Kirkland, MD

This is the most unprofessional and rude Dr. I have ever met. I explained to him that I was seeking a more natural way of dealing with my medical issue other than taking medication that will cause side effects. His response to me was “ Don’t be stupid.” He said that because of my age I needed to grow up and take the medication. I am not at the age where medication is my only option nor is my condition so severe that medication is my only option. I cannot believe that this man is still in practice. My appointment was for 12:45. I arrived early because I was a new patient. I did not get out of there until after 3:00. It was a waste of time and money. I would not refer anyone to him.

Dr Kirkland had me on muscle relaxer for months . When I ran out I called in left message on voice mail. It never got filled a week went by and nothing following week left another message it got filled but it was wrong amount. I was taking 2 a day for 30 day makes 60 . It was filled for 20 pills .I Call in and said it was the wrong amount please fix this no one ever called me back or fixed it for the right amount very very very dissatisfied what a lousy doctor never again he's a money hungry doctor always said if I needed a refill just to call in not this time and now was my last time And they always schedule 40 to 50 patients for the same time your always waiting 4 to 5 hours just to see him for 5 mins. You start scheduling people at 9 and never shows up till 11 very very very stupid.

Flora and Dr Kirkland are an excellent team.

Slow have 2 Waite for hours to see him he didn’t gave you your-rays report when you come for your visit crazy

Horrible!!! No one speaks Spanish or helps. They don't answer the phone. They don't care for the patients. They don't even have Patients Rights number. Never again!!!

This is the worst doctor anyone can have the displeasure of meeting! Crude and extremely arrogant behavior! And his office is really dirty! In addition I later realized that this doctor owns the laboratory in the same building! Isn't that considered FRAUD?????

I would definitely not recommend Dr. Kirkland. I have been his patient for a few years and my experience with him and some of his staff has been terrible. There seems to be a general consensus among his patients that he is not a caring, effective, or safe practitioner.
