Dr. Pushpinder Dhillon, MD

SCAM alert-stay away, you have been warned. Stay away from this practice- from appointments, doctor, billing everything is a scam here. Tldr: unprofessional practice in every department, rude billing team led by Sanjeev To keep it short so as to not waste my time here: we were recommended to go here by the OBGYN. Appointments cannot be made until you agree to pay full price (doesn’t matter if you have insurance) and you are made to pay full price on the day of appointment. On appointment day, we had to pay 30 times of what we would eventually ended paying since they do not look at your insurance. The nurse who did the scan was either bored, or was not being paid salary on time. She was uninterested in her work and did not show any interest in sharing with us what she was seeing about the baby. We ignored, may be that was her personality. The doctor Dhillon finally comes in for a minute, promises to send the report to our OB in couple of days. That report does not reach our OB’s office… on time. Finally, after about 2 weeks from the scan I receive a bill from insurance for $20. Mind you we already paid them more than $600 for this scan. I and my insurance company try to reach out to their billing team for more than a week but they never talk to us- either they are on holiday, or “no one is in office” or they never call back. So I raise a chargeback with my bank for the amount paid. 3 days later, I manage to reach their billing team finally and they agree to issue me a check. Few days later, I receive a extremely rude phone call from a guy called Sanjeev that I falsely raised a chargeback request and I need to pay $25 as fee for raising a chargeback request. When I dispute the accusation that it is a false chargeback, he simply hangs up. I do not find any reason for any one to go to this practice. Too bad, I did not read the reviews for the other locations. But this was the Reston location. Billing is centralized anyways, so good luck if you think of trying them.

Sadly the office manager is ruining the integrity of this practice. Payments are required up front with no option for payment plans. Their mission statement is compassion and care, this is a joke. He has zero compassion and is very rude, patient care is clearly not his mission.

I Love Dr.Dhillon and her staff ! This is my second pregnancy visit. This week visit I received only one image and called if I can get more since I share them with family then here this guy(I never seen him before) said since it’s free we give one only never get this answer before. Even if I don’t mind paying to get more his answer is No! Sad I try to reach Dr.dhillon or other staff but only this guy picked the phone and not willing to provide email or someone else . Dr. Dhillon is absolutely fantastic and has taken what was a very unexpected and scary event in my life and turned it into a beautiful experience. She answers every question I have, never judges, and makes both myself and my family feel completely at ease! I cannot say enough good things about her!

I don't know where my daughter and I would be without Dr. Dhillon and her ultrasound techs. Everyone was so friendly and caring and I started to think of them like my "medical family". I felt so safe and well cared for with Dr. Dhillon. Everyone remembered me and treated me so nicely at each visit. Dr. Dhillon herself would do my scans and come in during each visit. She was so good at explaining things and ensuring I knew my options. She never minced words or sugar coated anything, which I really appreciate. BUT my ONLY issue was billing. There seemed to be NO rhyme or reason to what they were charging. You are required to pay up front so you can't really cross check what you're paying because it's just an estimate- and a shaky one at that. I started having to go to appointments often so it really racked up the bills. I was paying hundreds of dollars a month so you really want a pretty in-depth itemization of what you're paying and that just doesn't seem to be protocol at this office.… I would never accuse this practice of ripping me off but you start to feel a little uneasy when it's pretty much impossible to tell what they are charging you for, what you're paying, what your insurance is paying, etc. etc. It was all very convoluted. I hope they overhaul their billing practices and then they would pretty much be perfect.

Great experience from friendly office staff, ultrasonographer, to Doctor. Very detail oriented to let us know everything that was going on during ultrasound and answered questions we had. Doctor made time to answer all of our questions. We did not feel rushed and felt the staff was concerned about us and our baby.

I have a serious billing issue & lack of communication that resulted in bill going to collections. Talked to their office manager, was told he would call me back, never heard back. Have left multiple messages, can't get a call back. All while the bill sits in collections accruing interest that THEY imposed & won't overturn, and I'm waiting on THEM!! Infuriating!!!

I would recommend dr dhillion to anyone looking for a high risk md. :) she is amazing!!!

Dr. Dhillon and the staff along with the ultrasound techs are great! The office manager is very unprofessional and has no clue about insurance or claims. He proceeded to tell me I had to pay over $300 towards my deductible after I just told him that I had sent a check in to pay my deductible with my insurance company for 2016. He then laughed at me on the phone and said that he would not see me because I had to pay, I again tried to explain to him that if I paid the portion that he wanted that he would end up refunding me because my payment had been sent to Anthem and was waiting to be processed, he stated that it is policy and then smirked again on the phone stating that he would not see me and proceeded to tell me that I lied to him. I am a office manager in the medical community myself and would NEVER treat a patient like that over the phone or in person, let alone if they were telling me that they had paid towards their deductible. I will NOT and NEVER recommend Dr. Dhillon to… anyone because of this gentleman that is suppose to be a professional but yet acts like a debt collector on the phone.

I absolutely love Dr. Dhillon! Being referred to her had me so nervous, nobody wants to be told their unborn baby needs to see a specialist. But she is amazing, explains everything in great detail and is so caring and understanding. I feel so comfortable knowing that our baby has been monitored by Dr. Dhillon. She truly takes her time with each of her patients. She won't rush through your appointment or make you feel like "just another patient". She is a lovely person and wonderful doctor.
