Dr. Rachael Cresap

Dr. Cresap delivered my son. From day 1 she has been the most kind, caring doctor I have ever had. I never had to worry about anything. She was very reassuring and always made me feel comfortable. She was even there in a moments notice when I had complications after going home after delivering my son. I've never felt so comfortable and taken care of by a doctor ever.

I have visited Dr. Cresap twice and think she was very thorough and took a great deal of time to explain everything to me. My comment is mainly about the office staff. I had an insurance question and spoke to Julie. She was very helpful and I appreciated the fact that she answered my questions immediately and with good humor. It wasn't too much trouble for her to check everything and I enjoyed talking to her. Kudos to Dr. Cresap for having an employee like Julie. Every doctors' office should have a Julie on their staff.

This woman should not be an OB until she learns to respect the educated choices of her patients.

Dr. Cresap is very caring and concerned about you as a person not just a patient that day. She spends time answering questions but also listening to symptoms and concerns. The personal touch is amazing with follow-up calls not just by her staff but by her. Hands down best Dr. I have ever had.

Dr. Cresap is an awesome doctor! She is very competent and thorough and deeply cares for her patients. Even though the office can be busy at times, I never feel rushed and all of my questions are thoroughly answered. I am on my second pregnancy with Dr Cresap and I highly recommend her!

I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone. She was very condescending and rude. She made my birth experience miserable. She did not respect any of my wishes in my birth plan (including and most important to me, delaying cord clamping.) Then continued to try to make me feel ignorant when she was in fact ignorant in her own field. Specifically failing to understand the function of the placenta providing oxygen to a baby when remaining intact. She said it was a "myth." That, in my opinion, is scary when an OB does not have a very basic understanding of something so important. She also panicked when attempting to deliver my baby who had shoulder diystocia. My midwife had to assist her. She bruised my baby's face up being so rough and careless. She didn't inspect my placenta to make sure it was intact, instead she shoved her entire hand and arm inside my vagina and "scooped" out my uterus. It was one of the most violating and disgusting things that's ever been done to me. … She did not even inform me of what she was doing. Overall my experience with this woman was awful. I would never recommend her to anyone.

My first introduction to dr Cresap was overhearing her telephone conversation with one of her patients outside my examination room. She spoke quickly and factually with her patient. Of course I only heard one side of the conversation but it left me with the feeling that she was a 'just the facts' kind of doctor. This was confirmed during her brief visit with me. No warmth, no concern, just the facts. Guess they can't teach you bedside manner in med school.

Dr Cresap is the sweetest doctor you could possibly have, the only negative is the office. Sometimes the staff can be rude, and it can take up to an hour to be seen.

The wait time was always over an hour. She was very nice but didn't take my concerns seriously. I was double billed for every visit!! Lack of experience seems to effect her diagnostic skills.
