Terrible experience

I think that Dr. Meaux is great! She is very knowledgable. She listens and is very attentive and caring. I have referred other family members to her.

She made my entire pregnancy downright miserable due to her condescending, belittling ways. She overlooked a very serious infection I had, which landed me in the hospital, even after repeatedly telling her my symptoms. She is extremely unrelatable and unfriendly. I used to pray that I would be able to see her NP, who is wonderful, rather than this witch. Unfortunately, it was too late in my pregnancy to switch doctors. Do not allow this woman to make you feel the way she has made me feel!!!

The worst gynecologist ever!!

Poor bedside manner and very condescending.

I really like her. My husband and I are expecting our third child. I am a very nervous pregnant women. We have had issues in the past and lost several pregnancies. She and the staff are always happy to answer my questions and to reassure me that everything is perfect. I caught the flu about a 2 months ago. It was diagnosed through a walk in clinic because I started to get sick over the weekend. So I called and left a message to let the office know. Poor things tried to call back for about 4 days before I realized. I had been sleeping all the time and did not check my phone. They where very very concerned about us and very happy to hear from me again. The whole staff seem very caring.

I did not find Dr. Meaux to be very professional. I agree with others that she was rather dismissive of my questions, but what really bothered me was that she kept bringing up the subjects of religion and politics during my exam! Despite having no idea what my beliefs were, she continued to rant about matters I would consider best left for discussion among close friends. I just found out I'm pregnant with my first, and needless to say I am looking for another doctor.

I wish that I would have read the reviews BEFORE I went to see her on my first pregnancy visit! She is everything that everyone is saying about her and more. She is rude, and could care less about her patients. I feel that she only cares about the money. I went in for my first pregnancy visit (I probably was around 8-10 weeks) she laughed at me when I asked her if I could FaceTime my husband when we listened to the heartbeat be he was away for work. She told me that we were not going to do that and then scalded me for being 6 months late on my Pap smear. She never even gave me a pregnancy test!!! When I went up to the desk to pay (which by the way I had already paid a copay) they told me that I owed them ANOTHER $150!! I could not understand why bc I had insurgence and I had already paid $150 that day! The lady at the desk kept rolling her eyes and talking to me like I was stupid. I left in tears and never went back! Do not go to this doctor!

I was rushed by her nurse and cut off on my answers to her questions. Dr Meaux didnt want to answer my general questions i had and said that the insurance wouldnt pay for the visit. i told her i was not worried about having to pay for it myself and she was still not wanting to answer some questions i had. She was not very nice and i didnt feel like she was someone i could talk to about problems. I also felt very uncomfortable during my exam because of how i was treated by her in her office. She also made me feel like i was lying about my medical history questioning me while making faces not believing me. I was excited to see but my first appt with her will be my last appt.

Has no "bedside" manner. I went to see her with menopausal problems, I was told by her that I just have to live this way and accept it. Well dear Dr. Meaux after seeing you I did some research on my own. I am off of the hormones that blew me up, my sex drive is back (you told me it was gone forever), and I have lost the 20 pounds I needed to since you put me on the hormones. She may be great for delivery of newborns, do not see her if you have hormone problems, she does not seem to care.
