Dr. Radhika Narang Chawla, MD

Dr Radhika Chawal is the best Dr I ever had, very caring and I wish she was still working because i really need her now, I don't know if I can trust any other Dr like I had trust and faith in her. Where ever she is hope in good health and enjoying the retirement life.

I couldn't even see the doctor, because each time my appointment was cancelled. This happened 4 times. I have an appointment in the afternoon, I get off work early to get there, and on the way I get a call that there is an "emergency" that we need to reschedule. WHO DOES THAT? If it happened once, that would be one thing, but it happened 4 times, and a month later, I decided to visit a different doctor who won't cancel on me last minute, especially for a sick visit!! So irresponsible!

I found this doctor or Advocate Good Sam hospital, I called her for appointment and after few other calls got an appointment but the way she spoke over the phone and ask my SSN as well as to pay in cash(no plastic), I told her that I have insurance I will scan and send it to you but she said I have to verify you, come in person and bring cash with you and don't bring infant/child with you, I said where can leave my kid alone, she replied rudely I don't want any disturbance/noise in my chamber, you hold him and stay outside. I feel she more concerned about money rather patient, also don't know how to speak decently. So I decided NO, I don't wanna see you.

I left the office distraught at Radhika Chawla. I showed up at the office to get my fiance's first prenatal appointment done. I showed up 20 minutes early to be told they wouldn't see her today because the copy of my insurance was not sufficient for them. I ask if there are any solutions to this for today so that she may be seen and they tell me that if I pay up front they would see her and reimburse me once my insurance checked out ok. So I say why not Ill pay. When I agree to pay Dr. Chawla comes out and says she will not see her today as I am her last appointment for the day and she would rather leave. Inconvenienced me from work not only today but the day I have to reschedule to see someone else. I hope I turn away at least 5 people from her so that maybe she can understand how much word of mouth matters along with reputation.

I went to this doctor once and would never go again. She was not very friendly or helpful, and gave me a "diagnosis" that had nothing to do with what I had gone to her for. She did not even bother to inform me of this "diagnosis", but did send it to my insurance company, which then dropped me because of it. I don't know of a doctor that gives a patient a diagnosis without telling them.
