Dr. Raechele C Gathers, MD

Dr. Gathers is very dismissive and never give you any definitive answers to resolve any of your issues. She’ll tell you one thing and next time you speak with her she’ll tell you something totally different. THIS WILL ABSOLUTELY BE MY LAST APPOINTMENT WITH THIS WOMAN. SHE COMES OFF SUPER NICE ALL WHILE BEING DISMISSIVE AND NOT RESOLVING A SINGLE ISSUE YOU MY HAVE BUT STEADY COLLECTING YOUR INSURANCE MONEY.

The doctor was rude, dismissive and did not provide a service. Additionally, she listed in the appointment summary services that she did not provide.

Dr. Gathers listened to my concerns. She gave a thorough exam and made recommendations. I was please with the outcome of this initial visit.

Very professional, conscientious, and thorough. She examined the mole I had a question about and ordered a biopsy to be 100% there was nothing to worry about. She also closely examined two pimples on my face and ordered medication to treat them. I am quite pleased with the service she provided and highly recommended her.

Her approach is very clinical and no nonsense. She removed a spot on my post with precision. I recommend her highly and will return when I need another dermatologist.

I felt as if she was inconvenienced by seeing me and she did not give my skin a thorough exam. She didn't even take a close look at my skin - it was from a few feet away. I literally don't know how she felt she did anything at all. She was in and out of the exam room extremely fast and there were no other patients waiting - at all. She needs to improve her people skills.

I originally scheduled my 6yo daughter with Dr. Gathers due to our schedules just happening to align. I was concerned when I saw some negative reviews online, however, I kept the appointment anyway. I am so glad I kept the appointment! Dr. Gathers was nothing but kind, warm, professional, and clearly competent. I highly recommend her for all age groups. She was fantastic with my little girl and great with me and my husband as well. She talked my daughter and us through the procedure and gave clear instructions and a follow up plan.

I’m extremely happy with the staff - front desk, nurse, doctor- at HFHS, Maple Rd, West Bloomfield. Short wait for appointment, professional staff at every stage, physician was professional and friendly.

I got the feeling that maybe she thought I was racist with her cold demeaner although I didn't get the feeling with her assistants. After reading other reviews, I guess this is just her personality.

Does not make a connection with the patient. Not personable.
