Dr. Rafael Firszt, MD

Dr. Ray Firszt is a rude and condescending and arrogant man. He treats anyone who challenges his opinion with thoughtful questions with disrespect and contempt. I would not reccommend anyone to visit him or heave him involved in their child's care. One of the worst people I have ever met.

No one really comes close. He spent time with us and spoke directly to our child. He was the first allergist to actually go through your testing and not dismiss us. I wonder if the folks that write negative reviews have other issues going on because I did not see any bad bedside manner. Sometimes there are 2 sides to every story.

Dr. Ray Firszt has the rude and condescending bedside manner of Dr. House but lacks the diagnostic skills to back it up. I highly discourage any parent from letting him treat a child, he is far too abrupt and abrasive (and as my child says “mean”). Perhaps he is better as an allergist, but as an immunologist he is not up to speed with diagnostic protocol and treatment. Please don’t be fooled into thinking he treats Mast Cell disorders as he states. His arrogance may be putting your child’s life at risk.

Was very attentive to all my needs. Very trustworthy

Dr Firszt was very condescending. He rushed through the appointment, While he was in the room during the appointment he kept one hand on the door nob the whole time. He acted annoyed when we asked him questions. All he cared about was doing more unnecessary environmental testing $$, instead of dealing with the actual reason we were there, a follow up of a life threating food allergy.

Highly recommend. My son has complicated EoE and wouldn't trust anyone else.

He is an excellent Allergist. Would not go to anyone else.

Dr. Firszt was terrible. We went in to have my daughter checked for allergies and he spent maybe 2 minutes with us and was rude during that time. We will be finding a different doctor.

Only allergist in Salt Lake that was able to figure out what was wrong with my son. Highly recommend!
