Then this is the place for you! You'll never wait under 3 hrs. You'll never reach the office by phone as it is not turned on in the morning or after lunch...Do not expect refills or referrals. Other Drs and pharmacies HATE to deal with this office. IF you are lucky enough to get an appointment, expect to be called back in for a SECOND 3 hr appointment for results (or no results) just to be asked why you're there! I dont even think I have a file there and I've been a patient for 10+ years. We should not be treated so badly as patients just because of the kind of insurance we have! My friends and I have been searching in vain for a different Dr. Dr Mehdi knows he has you in a bad situation and takes full advantage of it. Run!

Dr Mehdi is more then a doctor. He is a life coach, problem solver, healer and have helped my entire family. Saved my marriage. Helped my alcoholic son. Now sober for 3 years! His ability to analyze you and work with you with patient is so unique to him. Once you experience Dr Mehdi rest of the doctors will never satisfy what he has to offer. Don't take my words. I've been seeing Dr. Mehdi for 8 yrs and he is one of the most caring individuals and knowledgeable doctors I have met. He takes the time to actually listen to you and explain things if you have questions. He is a truly a wonderful doctor. It's really upsetting to see the negative reviews about wait time. I appreciate the time he spends with each patient and don't mind having to wait.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mehdi's for over 15 years. Dr. Mehdi takes time speaking with his patients one on one. The only downside is sometimes the wait can be a bit long. So be prepared. Dr. Mehdi is worth the wait.

There are run of the mill Dics and then there is Dr Mehdi . I transferred my whole family to him. I use to be with greedy fee for service concierge Doctor. Switched to Dr Mehdi after my neighbors my coworkers and my relatives recommended Dr Mehdi. In two visits he diagnosed accurately and fixed my problem. I wish he would write a book or do seminars. Dr Mehdi gave me manual of my life. You are a modern healer and a maverick of Primary Care medicine! Highly recommend to all!

Best Doctor ever!

I have been seeing Dr Rafay S. Mehdi for past 18 years. Before that I went to Mass Gen Hospital. Hands down Dr Mehdi is one of a kind Doctor. He comes from a distinguished family background. His medical knowledge his spiritual mystic aura and his folksy but highly professional staff has changed my life and improved the quality of my life. Dr Mehdi and his beautiful talented wife Heather Schmid are humanitarian and my kids love what she does. I was miserable for years and other run of mill Doctors said that its in my head that I am crazy. I say this with happy tears that Dr M diagnosed with Babeiosis as cause of my symptoms. He treated and cured me. My sister came from California and Dr M diagnosed rare genetic order Pheochromocytoma as cause of her illness. Now she is off her Psych mess. God Bless Dr Mehdi and his staff. Few negative comments here by others are seem to be disgruntled old employee or MassHealth patients that are seeking narcotics and don't get it. I wish Dr M stop taking Mass Health patients as most probably are good but few who are on welfare and drug addicts when don't get there fix get mad at our beloved Dr Mehdi. Best of Boston! and now sister calls him Best of LA!

This office is the WORST office. Have ALWAYS waited at least an hour....even WITH an appointment and even though I'm the only one sitting in the office!!! One time I was told to wait to get my blood work done....waited an hour and then was told the nurse who was to do my blood work went to lunch!!! After collecting my urine for five days, came back to get my results and was told the sample was lost!! The absolute WORST office I've ever been too. Will NOT go back EVER!!

I have been seeing Dr. Mehdi for the past few years now. Since the day I walked in I have been treated like family. You will not find a more kinder or compassionate office or staff in the South Shore area like Dr. Mehdi's office.

Dr Mehdi comes to seem my mother in the assisted living facility.My mother was 15 pills. After seeing few months my mother is on 3. It turns out previous primary care doctor never coordinated the care. Staff of Doctor Mehdi is outstanding warm and comforting. Even though I live in Cape I have switched myself and and my family to Dr Mehdi. Being an office manager in Cape I know one can never satisfy all. And also know people can never pleased. Dr. Mehdi himself is a wonderful person: he has a calm manner and positive energy. He fully believes in the mind-body connection. HOWEVER, actually seeing HIM is another issue. Follow-up care basically is non-existent. My mom is his patient and lives in Assisted Living. He orders blood-work for her all the time, but we never get the results, or why the number of draws. Everytime we go, he says we need to go to a specialist-but again, eventhough he gets all the reports from the other docs, nobody seems to read them at his office! The visiting nurse can hardly get a response from the office! He always wants to see my mother, but nothing gets accomplished - unless she needs a prescription (or MORE blood). We always thought the "Primary Care" was supposed to "go to" doc for a treatment plan, using the data from the specialists. Currently looking for a new Primary Care.

Waited an hour for my physical. The receptionist was on her phone, rude and very unprofessional. I asked nicely after waiting for 50 mins, if she knew when I'd be seen and she replied he's on the phone. So I waited for 10 minutes and saw the nurse, in and out in 5 minutes and didn't even see the doctor. This place was such a joke!
