Dr. Raghotham Reddy Patlola, MD

He forgot to come and discharge me one morning and I had to stay in the hospital all day until another physician saw me still there and processed a discharge for me. I saw him 2 weeks later for a followup visit and he wouldn't give me answers to all the tests done in the hospital. Only said "you are fine, go live a good life". I will be paying for the hospital and other charges through next year...with not a single explanation. Worst doctor I have ever dealt with!

Has surgery on right leg in Opelousas and so far all is well. Have to return to have left leg done. Only wish I that I had more time to talk with him. He had an emergency which put him behind that day. My time to arrive was 7:30 but was after lunch before taken back and sedated. There was at one time some severe pain during procedure . Wish I had been able to be more alert to talk to Dr. afterwards. The Nurses Assistant did explain very well how it went and what I needed to do afterwards. All is doing well . Thankful for a good outcome. The Clinic staff in the Opelousas Ctr. are excellent and explained it all very well. Thank you

I have visited his office 7 times. I was always 10 - 15 minutes early. But I always had to wait 1.5 to 2 hours past the appointed time before I was put in an exam room. I only saw the DR. on the 1st 2 appointments. All of the other visits I was seen by a Nurse-Practioner. I was never informed ahead of time that I would be seen by the nurse and not the DR. I don't find this acceptable. I expected to see the DR. not a Nurse.

Dr.Patlola is back. After he left the town, myself and my husband were assigned to see another Doctor at CSI. Then they switched me around to 2 other docs. They were all good. But, nothing like Dr.Patlola. Our entire family has switched back to him and several others in my family. Welcome Back Dr. Patlola, We Love You.

My husband walked into the emergency room in the middle of a heart attach. Dr. Patlola moved swiftly to save his life. He is an exceptional Cardiologist with a wonderful bedside manner. He takes the time to explain a diagnosis or procedure. Wonderful Doctor!

Payola is 1 of the best doctors I've seen,nurses just dont have compassion

Dr Patlola went above and beyond when I first went to him as a patient. I had an extensive history of artery problems in my right leg. My previous doctor had told me there was nothing else to do. Just by chance a friend of mine had just finished her NP degree and was going to work for Dr Patlola. By chance I asked her if she had found a job yet and she told me about Dr Patlola. I jokingly said so does he do arteries in legs and she tod me actually that is his passion! So I called and made an appointment for an initial consultation. When I got there he came in and said I've been told of our previous surgeries and complications and there's no reason for me to do test let's just schedule you for surgery. I was a little shocked at this approach until surgery came. He repaired the artery in my leg no problem and even checked my other leg and found out it needed to be stented too. So 2 weeks later I was back at the hospital again for surgery. Everything went textbook perfect . I will no… matter where Dr Patlola goes forever be his patient. He explained all procedures before hand o my husband and I both and didn't hesitate one second to answer any question we asked him. I have never felt rushed at an appointment with him and truly feel when he is in the room with me his is focused on me and my care and not just getting me out so he can get another patient in. I can not say enough good things about Dr Patlola!

He is an awesome physician. I saw Dr. Patlola for about ten years. He did all my vascular work. He's very knowledgeable and knows his work. I trusted this physician in all aspects of making the right choice for my health. He moved away for about three years and I'm hearing he's back in Lafayette, La.

Dr. PATLOLA WAS MY DOCTOR IN LAFAYETTE LA. And HE WAS AN AWESOME DOC. HE SAID MY LIFE BY TALKING ME INTO THE GADTRIC SLEEVE. HE HAS SEEN MY MOTHER AND FATHER OPEN HEART SURGERY FOR BOTH. WE WANT HIM BACK IN LAFAYETTE WE NEED HIM HERE. HE IS SO CARING,kind and compassionate and bedside manners are awesome I have never had a doctor better than him we miss him so much.
