Dr. Rahul Singh, MD

This was a video consult, which I don't see how he can really check your weakness & pain when the consult is not in person. He did not seem like he wanted to help me with my L5 S1 nerve impingement unless I lost at least 10-15 lbs to lower my BMI by 0.5. He was not the least empathetic to my pain & symptoms. When I had an slight change in my symptoms & my physician suggested that I notify him of this, which I did not want to do, he called me back and told that he reviewed my MRI and this was not related to my current issue so I should go to the ER, there was nothing that he could do! When I tried to discuss with him, he just again stated that I should go to the Emergency! I have since seen another neurosurgeon who saw me in person and was very empathetic and listened to my history & symptoms along with doing a very thorough neuro exam for my nerve impingement! He also noted an unusual detail in MRI & symptoms which would account for some of my more unusual symptoms. I would not… recommend Dr. Singh to anyone. I have no idea about his surgical skills but his "people" skills are definitely lacking!! Being a retired RN I believe that dealing with patients is just as important as your other medical skills!!
