Run away from this place! They are deleting my reviews, so leaving review again. I been a patient of Dr. Mehta, he is good as a specialist, but his stuff is horrible. 1. They never picked up the phone, I called more than 10 times, never called back, I left voice messages. 2. In order to schedule I drove 1,5 hours to Austin and when I explained the situation, young girl on the reception said I never called and asked me to wait 15 minutes just to schedule me. 3. When I waited 20 minutes she did nothing and still didn’t schedule me, I knock in the window begging to do a schedule for me. She said it’s not 1.5 hours, it’s just an hour drive, you can come back later. When I mentioned it’s ridiculous, the whole situation, she said “I am calling cops on you”, closed the window in front of me and turn off the lights. I hope doctor can see it all. Just in case they will say it’s my fault, the entire conversation recorded on video. I have nothing against doctor, but allowing his stuff to act this way towards customer is unacceptable. You can see how many times I called and drove 1.5 hours there and back. Even after all this they acted this way. My next step is insurance claim and BBB complaint.

good doctor but bad staff. i called about why the doctor hadn't kept our appointment and the staff asked me to keep waiting; then the staff cancelled the appointment without informing me.

Lists of issues…. Waited 2 hours for dr to arrive to surgery for tons of patients. No aftercare instructions. No appointment reminders. When complications happened no one in office knew what to do. They never asked doctor weeks of pain turned into more issues. If you want to be cared for find another doctor.

When I had insurance issues that were going to prevent me from having a procedure I needed, Dr. Mehta went out of his way to accommodate me. Staff are very supportive and helpful as well!

Best doctor . He is caring and knowledgeable . He takes time to listen . I had abdominal pain . He found bad bacteria in my intestines. He treated me with antibiotics. I am 100% better. I was told IBS by other GI I will highly recommend to anyone for Gastro problem

I have stomach problem for my life . I was seen by large group of doctors in Austin and in Dallas.dr Mehta listened to my complains, reviewed my records and ran some testing . He diagnosed my problem. I am getting treatment. I am symptoms free first time after years. He is very knowledgeable, caring listens to the patient.i will highly recommend to anyone with Gastro problem .

Dr. Rajesh Mehta is by far the worst excuse for a doctor I've ever had the displeasure of being seen by. He talks quickly, does not answer questions, refuses to return phone calls, and worst of all, he lied directly to my face on multiple occasions. He dropped me as a patient after convincing me that I needed my gall bladder removed, but when I attempted to get a different GI, he resisted my wishes to sign over my records to my new doctor. Overall, Dr. Mehta desrves a negative star rating and should be prevented from practicing medicine any longer.

He is very knowledgeable and caring. He listened to my concerns and health complaints and treated my problems.

I saw him about 9 months before he left. His "clinic" was straight out of the 50's. When I had my follow-up he did not bother to show up. I had my follow up with a physician I had never before met. Dr. Mehta's office never bothered to send reports to my primary care physician. My new gastroenterologist wants me to have all the tests Dr. Mehta had done repeated because he does not trust the work Dr. Mehta did (even if we had the results). Just a side not for Dr. Mehta in case he is bothering to read this... I will be happy when my lawyer finds you.

The short time I had to go to Dr. Mehta, I felt like he was always in a hurry. Then, he quit right before I went in for my follow-up with him. I did not even know he quit until I went in for the follow-up. A nurse told me that he had quit.
