I went in with a UTI and he assumed my pain wasn't as bad as it feels. He wouldn't prescribe me the usual pain med that turns your urine orange but relieves symptoms. He said I didn't need them. This is my third UTI in the course of 7 months but he still didn't think referring me to a urologist was necessary. I don't think he understands issues dealing specifically with women nor does he care to try and listen. I also have a tendency to contract yeast infections when I take antibiotics for UTIs. He insisted that treatment for a yeast infection will not be necessary for me. Which really angered me because I know my body better than anybody else. Never going back again.

Failed to listen. Did not provide adequate care. He ended appointment with no compassion for situation and no real outcome.

I have been seeing Dr. Chokshi for several years and could not be happier with his care. He has always treated me with dignity and respect.

I found Dr Chokshi when he was assigned to my dad by the hospital he was a patient in because his PCP wasnt affiliated with the hospital, and was overseeing his care the entire stay. Dr Chokshi was his doctor for 3 weeks and had built better rapport with patient and family, than his PCP did in 10 years. He took the time to explain everything (repeatedly if needed, and to different people), consulted with all other doctors for us then reported back to us, and had excellent bed side manner. He was also the one who had the task of informing us that he was not going to make it, he hugged both my mom & I when he told us, and did several times during those 3 weeks. After this, we switched to him as our PCP. I was in a car accident shortly after I started to see him as my doctor, and while he didnt need to visit me in the ER for just a case of whiplash, he personally called me at home the next day to see how I was feeling and if things had gotten better or worse. Hes a doctor that talks… to you instead of at you. My only regret of Dr Chokshi is that we hadnt found him sooner.
