My father had surgery recently to remove his gall bladder. His gall bladder surgery lasted for Two to three hours due to the number of gall stones and the condition of his gall bladder. Dr Kent was very kind and continued to see him weekly to make sure his recovery continued successfully. After a number of visits of continued care he is doing extremely well. A was astounded at some of the reviews I read about Dr. Kent. I came to him with stage 3 thyroid cancer and have not had a recurrence because of his thorough surgery. The joy on his face after surgery when he asked me to speak I only understood later when my husband told me he had to peel the tumor off my vocal nerve and I might not be able to speak above a whisper. You can't fake that kind of caring. And, his skill left me not just with a voice, but with the same one I had before surgery. As a "type A" person myself, I appreciate his punctuality at follow up visits, and the one time I had to wait because he was in surgery I prayed for him and his patient, remembering my longer than expected surgery time. Dr. Kent is a wonderful person, but even if he wasn't, who cares when you're dealing with life and death? I needed an excellent surgeon, not a best friend, and I got a surgeon who saved my life. I recommend him to everyone - there are no small surgeries, but he can handle the big… ones!
