Dr. Ralph Edward Bowman, MD

Dr. Bowman himself is competent, level-headed, and he is not prone to jump to conclusions. He has not been a bad doctor, though neither has he been notably remarkable. He is consistent and steady. A necessary liason...However, the whole reason I am writing this review is because of the office staff. I tried to get a copy of medical records from them and it was a complete hassle. They didn't seem to know what they had, what they didn't have, what I should do, who I should speak to. I just stormed out of the office in tears...how am I supposed to go to a new specialist if I have such a hard time getting records sent over or otherwise??? A GP office should be used to the sending of records. They told me they couldn't even fax the records to my new cardiologists' office! I had to pick them up myself and what I met with at the office was incompetency and problems.The office staff seemed totally uncaring as to what I needed and more concerned with potential liability to themselves (being… that they were so disorganized that I'm sure it IS a CONSTANT concern) than actually helping me. I guess since I'm not paying them a copay for my visit then I don't matter.
