Dr. Ralph James Laneve, MD

Terrible bedside manner. Incompetent surgeon.

Dr Laneve is very arrogant. Treated me aweful. He even hurt me during my post op visit. My gallbladder surgery was the most a horrible experience because of him.

All questions above are great but what i was interested as a patient was to find out more about the outcome of his surgeries . I was scheduled for a total thuroidectomy a week ago and was already comfortable with his skills and experience . BUT he exceeded my expectations : voice is almost back after a week , the incision is almost perfect and my recovery has been really good so far . Dr Laneve is very meticulous , experienced and provides a very good explanation on how the procedure . My parathyroids are intact ( none were removed accidentally ) , which is great ! I am very glad i had him as my surgeon , it is always good to be comfortable with your doctor , it is a major surgery after all .

Dr. Laneve is one of the few doctors I've taken the time to review online because of how impressed I am with him. Extremely competent surgeon, quick office visits, covers everything in detail, great follow up.

Recently I had to have inguinal Surgery, so I contacted Dr. Ralph Laneve at Williamson Medical Center and would recommend him to anyone needing this type of treatment. He was very informative of how the surgery was going to take place. What materials were going to be used which made me feel more relaxed about the whole ordeal. The nurses, staff and anesthesiologist were great. Hopefully I never need this type of treatment again, but if I do, I will definitely use him again

I went to see Dr. Laneve for an initial visit for my father. He came into the room and gave his diagnosis. He hadn't even done an exam on my father prior to coming up with his planned treatment. When asking questions, he was short and oftentimes raised his voice to over speak me. He was short and abrasive. He has a condesending attitude and acts as though you are worrying him when asking questions. Who wants to see a surgeon that gets upset with questions. I am also a doctor and I would never treat the patient nor their family as though their questions are irrelevant. To say the least, he will not be the one to treat my father. Dr. Laneve should remember the medical oath he took several years ago.

Rudest medical professional ever. Treated me like i was wasting his time, and referred to a general doctor as stupid!

Dr. Laneve took really good care of me before, during and after surgery. I would definitely recommend him to anyone of my friends or family members.
