I have always been extremely picky about my providers, particularly because I work in healthcare myself. My requirements are having a warm and gentle demeanor, a caring disposition, ability to listen and answer questions and have the utmost professionalism. Dr. Nathan possesses all of these qualities. My only complaint is that he is closing his New Jersey office and moving to Florida. It will be difficult to find another gastroenterologist to fill his shoes. They will be very lucky to have him there. My family will miss going to see him. He and his team even made having a colonoscopy a good experience! At every visit, Dr. Nathan always showed that he truly cared about our health, in every aspect; and, he kept us informed with straightforward advise, often given with a fun comment and always with a warm smile. We wish him well in his new endeavors and thank him immensely for many years of care. You should go see Dr. Nathan!

Dr Swami Nathan is a very caring Doctor and makes sure he cover everything you may need health also calls you back if needed and explains everything you need to her .Has a great Staff and Avery organized practice I would recommend him to everyone . I was recently sent to Dr Ramasamy S Nathan, MD - for a colonoscopy .... He came across on my initial consult as a warm and competent dr whom I actually felt cared .... That is very important to me ..... The colonoscopy itself could not have gone smoother .... of course I was nervous as it was my first time .... it was a quick wait in the waiting room - in fact they called my name before the scheduled time .... everyone and I mean everyone along the way from beginning to end of the process were friendly competent and caring ..... I would recommend Dr Nathan and staff to anyone considering a colonoscopy ..
